Le Pigalle will provide a great experience when traveling to Paris. The rooms are super clean and the staff is great. You will be 2 miles away from everything. It's a perfect location if you prefer to walk to get around town. There are numerous bars/restaurants in the area. Felt very safe. I would stay here again.

Great location in Pigalle, which has some incredible restaurants and cool boutiques. My room was perfect, with a comfortable bed and a great shower, as well as a retro-style record player. I love the art throughout the hotel, and the attention to detail in the design of the rooms; it feels more like a well-appointed apartment, than a hotel room....

Le Pigalle is a cool and modern hotel for a city stay with a great location in the popular Montmartre area. The Sacré-Coeur is 10 minutes walk away and there are plenty of very good restaurants nearby. The staff in the hotel are friendly and very helpful and speak very well English (for those not that fluent in French). The...

Loved the cool and super friendly staff and the relaxed environment of the hotel. True Parisian experience specially if you prefer small hotels with personality – take your time and enjoy some food and drinks in the restaurant while you mingle with the locals. Great details in the room, totally connected with the area and the neighborhood. Location is also...

Funky boutique hotel inspired by the Pigalle area's history as the centre for the city's famous erotic cabarets. The perfect get-away hotel for a weekend of debauchery for two. Rooms are Parisian small, bu clean and nicely designed. Big fluffy beds and excellent summer rain shower in the bathroom. Restaurant has small but tasty menu, better for snacks to accompany...

Staff were so attentive - but not too much, smiley - but genuine, friendly but not too much, natural and so relaxed - nothing was too much trouble. Overall, making our stay so relaxed and a joy to be there.

The personnel at the hotel are really friendly and charming. In addition, the facilities and rooms are really stylish and modern: its creative decoration includes pieces from different artists and you get to have a customized iPad to enjoy a pre-made playlist to set an authentic 'Le Pigalle' mood and to interact with concierge at anytime. The only tiny drawback...

Dear guest, Thank you for your review. We are delighted to read your kind words, especially mentioning the services provided through our Ipad, available in every room. It's nice to hear you also liked the facilities and style of the hotel. As for breakfast, we chose to have a simple, very parisian type, and put together with local retailers. Sorry...

Friendly staff (especially the concierge), beautiful room (it's a pleasure just hanging around the room taking in all the erotic artwork and funny random objects), great food (loved the inexpensive, delicious roomservice). Great value for money.

My boyfriend (now husband) and I were recently joined by 22 friends for our wedding in Paris. There are many challenges associated with planning a wedding in a city 5,000 + miles away, not the least of which was finding a hotel that would satisfy the tastes of 24 different people... Fortunately, after emailing back and forth with over a...

Pigalle is/was Paris' red light district. That said there doesn't seem to be anything seedy or illicit about the area so quite safe and livable. The hotel is brilliant and very laid back with a lobby that doubles as a cafe restaurant. The staff are super friendly way beyond what one expects in most of Paris. I also loved the...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Mythical and imposing, languid and frenetic, Pigalle is a neon light in the Parisian night. The neighbourhood has always attracted bad boys and artists, musicians and adventurers. With neither a monument nor a meeting point, it lacked a spot that really reflected its tawdry values, brazen spirit and musical energy. And so, Le Pigalle was born. An authentic neighbourhood hotel, whose history was shaped by the cultural mix that swirls on the southern slopes of Montmartre. The team is local and will take you to meet some of the places, people and stories that bring Pigalle alive and make Paris so vibrant. The croissants are provided by the nearby bakery, the books selected by the local bookstore and the music chosen by a neighbourhood DJ who also is an album collector and happens to be born in Pigalle. Local artists, shopkeepers and restaurant owners, they all have something to say about their neighbourhood. You can meet up for a drink, a night (out), or a coffee. This is Pigalle! ... more   less
