Although the hotel is in near the Opera house and close to several train/metro stations, it is not easy to get to and from with heavy luggage. I want to put that first as it was not easy to get to the hotel with heavy bags. This is not a fault of the hotel, but Paris metro stations. Other than...

The Marriott had a great breakfast (included in our package) and a bar that had food & nice bartenders at night. The room was clean & beds very comfortable. I really liked the location & the staff was very friendly. LOVE PARIS and its people, can't wait to go back some day.

We stopped here for 2 nights in December for a long weekend. On arrival we were really impressed with how clean and fresh the hotel appeared and smelt and the staff welcoming us were very polite and hospitable It's worth noting that we arrived 3 hours before check in time, so it was superb we could be accommodated, however the...

I stayed here (solo) while on a travel group event. Important to note: the check-in time is the check-in time. Do not expect to get to your room early. I ended up sprawled out in the business lounge for 3 hours before having my room ready. The rooms are nice. The bathrooms are clean. I found the beds to be...

Located blocks from the Opera and amongst many traditional and modern restaurants. The rooms are high quality and the bathrooms have been updated with large showers and amenities. The fitness center is well equipped with cardio and weights. Would have liked to have had some smash balls, though. Will stay here again.

This Marriott is a weak "3".Great location but It just doesn't come up to the standards of the many Marriotts I've stayed in. Needs a real shot of adrenaline. Pulled up and never saw a bellman. Carried our luggage in ourselves,

Good location for those that like to walk., Just down the street from the opera and easy walking to all the sights. Nothing to wow you here, but up to Marriott standards so clean, good food and well appointed rooms.

We stayed here in June/July on Marriott points. It was definitely worth the it since we were not paying the full price, but it was not worth 800 euros a night. The toilet in our room smelled of cigarette smoke the whole time - sometimes as if someone were smoking in it and sometimes as if someone had smoked in...

This is a great hotel in a great location. It's a standard Marriott and we received an upgraded room with our Platinum status. Our room had a king size bed, a nice desk, two chairs for sitting, a separate entrance room with a coat rack between the bedroom and bathroom and a nice sized bathroom. As Platinum members we received...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
