This was a grand hotel in the heart of Paris with an Art Deco look and feel. Rooms were clean comfortable and with tea and coffee making facilities. All the food provided for our event and including breakfast was good quality and presented well. We used rooms for a main plenary session for 90 people and smaller rooms for break...

I stayed here for a few nights. Lovely location because you can walk to shops from here, metro isn't far, this area has beautiful buildings. The staff is very friendly and very patient. I felt safe even going for a walk late in the evening. The lounge area is cozy, comfortable, welcoming.

I cannot say enough good things about the staff at this hotel. I was meeting my son in Paris, he was arriving by plane in the late morning and me by train in the evening. While he's 19, this was his first trip abroad, and first time traveling solo. He had to make his way from the airport to the...

We had a stay with Marriott points in this hotel for 2 nights. We got an upgraded room and complimentary breakfast as the lounge was closed. We did not use the parking but booked via a parking tool in advance as this saves a lot of money. The hotel has many attractions at walking distance. For example the Louvre is...

The rooms are very small, bathrooms as well. No air conditioning in room, rooms get very very hot. Room service is very expensive and the food is disgusting. Marriott staff ran various emergency drills at peak cold hours, forcing guests outside to suffer in the cold. Breakfast is expensive with a subpar selection of food and drinks. TV in rooms...

Great location, a few minutes walk to several Metro stops, and approximately 30 minutes walk to the Lovre. The hotel is well run & taken care of. Though I do have to mention, the club level oddly on the approx 5 days we went over to it...they served COLD: a rotation of fish, quiche, and/or pasta (fyi, even when "freshly"...

Been in France for about a week and stayed in a number of Marriotts.this one is older and more like a boutique hotel. Rooms are quite small. Could not get a room with two regular beds. All they have are twins pushed together. Bathrooms are teeny tiny but serviceable. They do have a concierge floor and that was nice. Hours...

Centrally located and easy to get to everywhere either by metro or cab. The rooms are very descent sized, comfortable beds, very new and updated toilet facilities. Conceige speaks English and tries to help. Only two negatives - check in time took a while (don't know why they needed to charge our credit card twice for guarantee as we are...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
