I booked this hotel for me and my gf to spend a couple of nights away in Paris for a reasonable price. The night before I travelled, I had to check in online where a deposit of 80 euros were taken from my card to...More

We are sorry you are so upset about your stay at Ibis Montmartre.
All rooms have the same standard, and are nearly the same size, only the layout can change according to the situation of the room.

If you are wanting to spend some time exploring Montmartre this hotel is in a great location. Very basic rooms as you would expect at Ibis but clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.
Very friendly staff.
This hotel lacks charm but is clean and everything is as it should be. The location is the best part about the hotel. It is very well placed for restaurants and bars of Montmartre. Close to the metro. A good value place to stay in...More
Basic hotel, great location. The lobby gives you great expectations but you're soon brought down to earth once the elevator door opens. Great value though for what it is but personally wouldn't stay again.

Stayed for 2 nights. Basic rooms. No carpet, just 2 towels per room. Awful hairdryer. Bar was soulless and that is generous. But comfortable bed and excellent breakfast. Room was quiet, overlooking the cemetery.

Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy
features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.

Turn left out of the hotel, over the bridge and turn right onto rue Joseph de Maistre and just after the next junction there is a little restaurant called Un Zebre a Montmartre on the right - lovely food, good prices, good service, very French. If you don’t like the look of that there are a number of other eateries along that stretch.

Take the train from CDG to Gare du Nord, cost is around 19 euros. Tickets can be purchased from the self service machines, (in English). Then follow the signs to the Metro from the train station (internal) and take the metro to Place De Clichy. Very easy. I always walk from the train station and sit with a coffee after about 10 mins, just to take in the atmosphere.
