This hotel was good value compared to my past experience of Paris Hotels - if you're after somewhere civilised rather than somewhere special and don't mind the location, then I think it's a decent choice. The room I had was nice and modern. They were doing some renovation work on the stair case while I was there but it wasn't...

We stayed at this hotel just before Easter, 2009. Although the hotel seems a bit far from some of the major tourist sites, it is rather easy to hop on the metro and find your way around Paris in no time at all. In fact, this hotel is located across the street from the Seine River on the eastern side...

Just stayed there for one night. Clean, tidy and spacious room. It's literally 10 steps from the metro exit, so good for us with a heavy luggage. The metro is up there above the ground, so you just take the escalator down, cross the small street, and you're already at the doorstep. Staff speaks English, and is friendly (unlike those...

This is a standard basic three star property. Clean and simple rooms, internet comes at 20 euros per day. If you need to be in the immediate vicinity of either Bercy or the Library, you can't get much closer than this. The Metro stops in front of the door (the trip to Paris Nord will take you 30 minutes maximum)....

With the metro station just outside the door, this hotel was fairly convenient. It did not feel like Paris to us though. It is a bit further southeast from the action. The neighborhood is apparently undergoing renovation, but it felt a little "on edge" to us. Young men were frequently loitering on the side streets. We wanted to us the...

I stayed at this Mercure during Spring Break 2003, during my first visit to Paris. It is very close to the Bercy metro station, an easy walk, with a few little cafes nearby. However, this is not the best location for those tourists wishing to be closer to the center of Paris. I would recommend another hotel more in the...
