I’m giving the hotel 5 Stars because of the employees, the location and the beauty of the rooms lobby and bar BUT something changed, employees are fleeing fast for other hotels, I heard from an ex employee that they are overworked, underpaid and under-appreciated. Staff are working 3-4 different positions because management can’t keep staff. The ex employee called me to say that the job isn’t fun anymore there, she also said it’s too stressful and I was told that the hotel is seeking a 5 Star rating so they need to increase the hotel image… which is funny because they are losing Amazing employees and starting weird policies. Some genius thought it was smart to only give water in the room the first night 😂, yea, that helps get a 5 star rating. I stayed 12 nights and was asked to pay for water on night 2 🤦. Whoever thought of that policy needs to be fired yesterday. Do I care about paying for water, no, I tip the workers 100’s of euros because I love all of them but it’s insulting to pay for water bottles🤦 Their front desk is understaffed now which should make the hotel go from 4 stars to 3 Stars, someone in management has got to be fired like yesterday. The bartender, all the doorman, front desk staff, room service and housekeepers should be given a raise and bonus for being overworked. There’s a SuperStar amongst many many Star employees there. Tufan, the doorman is Amazing, kind, sweet, helpful caring and professional, I’m thinking of hiring for my business but he loves Paris :). He protected my wife while she was coming back from the bank with money, someone was following her… Tufan saw her coming back to the Hotel and ran down the block to stand next to her, protecting her like a Professional bodyguard, like a brother, like a father and he walked her safely back to the hotel. Guests love him, fellow workers love him and my wife and I love him like family… protect my wife and you are in my family for life. All the doormen are extraordinary, I mean absolutely Phenomenal, they all took such good care of us❤️. So, go see my friends at the front door and front desk, stay and be spoiled by housekeepers, room service and of course an exceptional kind caring friendly night bartender but be prepared for slower service and no water in the room after the first night. The owners don’t know they have a problem and guarantee someone in upper management will be fired soon. Ps, if you’re lucky enough to meet the doorman Tufan, I guarantee he will protect you like he protected my wife… my wife doesn’t hug and kiss many ppl goodbye but she gave Tufan a big hug and kiss goodbye, she loves his sweet heart and kind soul.

The hotel location is excelent. The hotel is well maintained, in a classic parisian style. Service is professional, yet cold, as often happens in the city. Room was well appointed, but very very small (website photos make them look much larger, and mirrored walls help on that). As a compensation, bathroom was large, white (marble) and classy, easily becoming the best part of the entire room. Price is on the high side, but 4 star hotels in Paris are nowadays more expensive than 5 stars in most european capitals. Be aware that, they charge at check-in a tax (in this case was 50 euros), that is extra to the tax incuded as extra in the rate when you book through their website. This tax is never referred while booking or in the confirmation e-mail. Overall a very nice place .

Stayed here for our wedding anniversary and husband's birthday ( we had originally intended to spend our 30th anniversary in Paris but Covid intervened). The hotel is very well placed about 20 minutes from Gare du Nord and a short walk from Opera Garnier. Also well placed for many major sites such as the Louvre. Check-in was smooth and we were directed to our room on the 5th floor. The lift was up a couple of curved steps, a little awkward to negotiate but luckily our luggage was not too big so we could manage. The room was nicely decorated in the antique style to match the hotel, facing into an internal courtyard with tables and chairs set out on artificial grass (there was a tiny balcony but the rail was rather low for comfort!). The bathroom was a little old-fashioned but spotless, and provided with bathrobes and slippers. The air conditioning was very efficient, and as well as bottles of water there was a little plate of maccarons and a note wishing us happy birthday and anniversary. In return for registering for the loyalty programme we had a voucher for a free drink each in the bar, so once unpacked we went downto see what we could have. The bar was cosy in the club style with dark panelling and big green leather chairs. The barman was very professional and it was a comfortable place to relax. Not very big, and thepiano was covered ith a cloth and had a TV on top (presumably for the rugby). When we went back to the room to change there was a little tray of pastries to go with the maccarons. All very yummy and perfect to fill the gap as we had a latish dinner booked. Our deal included breakfast, which was excellent. As well as cerals etc. And cold meats (very good quality) and smoked salmon, an eclectic cheese selection and range of delicious breads and pastries there was a hot selection including "the best bacon ever"(according to husband), scrambled egg and some rather nice roasted new potatoes with little bits of mushroom and onion. There was a hot water urn with a huge range of tea bags (fruit, herbal, breakfast etc) with tea pots so you could make a "proper" cup of tea. To sum up, this is a comfortable, old-fasioned (in a good way!) hotel, dotted with good quality antique furniture and beautiful fresh flower arrangements, with professional and welcoming staff. We will definitely return to Paris in the next year or so and will probably choose the Westminster again.

My husband and I checked into The Westminster Hotel in Paris yesterday. I booked our room through Hotels.com but I would have done it through their website as you can become a Warwick member and gain points. Quite costly per night so my expectations are a little high. Check in was very fast and efficient, the front desk staff are very pleasant and always smiling. Our room was nice although when you have two small windows facing an inner centre with other windows it does put a damper on things. When you can face the street it makes such a difference. Room was clean with a water bottle on each night table. Flat screen TV but no coffee maker so odd in today’s day. There was instant with a kettle. In the closet a safe and a fridge with nothing in it - no snacks or drinks. Bathroom was super clean with 3 shower towels and a bathrobe hanging on hanger. Now if you’re paying what we are paying you notice the little things - yesterday 3 shower towels - today only 2- yesterday 2 rolls toilet paper - today only one - small tiny bottle of shampoo and body wash. No conditioner my hair is a mess and no body lotion . Yesterday a bottle of water on each night table and today none. The bed is comfortable but they could definitely replace their pillows . Breakfast was wonderful with a varietyand good selection of hot and cold. The staff were lovely and friendly and very attentive. Would I come back here I don’t think so for the price I think there are hotels that provide a little more in the extras but for staff they were a 5 all the way.

Very new hotel after the renovation with beautiful interior in the lobby and other hotel areas as well as inside the room, absolutely perfect location, great breakfast, good service. My room had an inner courtyard view which was very quiet from the noise outside. I could hear the noise of one of the elevators at night. Also, I found it a bit strange that the shower cabin did not have a small shelf or some space to put the shower gel etc. Instead the housekeeping staff had to leave the toiletries either on the shower floor or outside the shower which is not convenient. In addition, had to request separately amenity kit.

Location is without doubt the best in Paris…close to everything including being surrounded by great restaurants. In room dining is disgusting…we could not eat the food they sent up as very poor in quality. However the restaurant served up great food which was good quality and cooked to perfection. Breakfast was ordinary with limited hot food but plenty of freshly squeezed orange juice. Hotel needs to review its food delivery apart from the restaurant which was excellent. We were given an upgrade to a larger room looking over an internal courtyard so No street noise. Hotel is a very old building and the decor reflects its age which is quietly elegant. Staff helpful but their English was only just adequate .

With its beautiful design and classy feel, The Westminster hotel gave a vibe of luxury. The lobby's elegant decor makes a great impression, while the bar and breakfast room offer excellent amenities, including a diverse selection and full breakfast options.
During my stay, I was impressed with the deluxe room's spaciousness, attractive decor, and impressive marble-like bathroom. Ian, the front desk staff member including the doorman were all proved to be friendly and helpful. Before my husband joined me from his business trip in Dusseldorf, I truly enjoyed my brief stay here.
We transition to a different hotel in the area equipped with a pool, but I would have liked to prolong my stay, as my intense schedule only afforded only a brief time at the pool. The hotel’s prime location, offering easy walking access to Place Vendome, the Opera, restaurants, shopping, with the added convenience of Cartier being located next door, and Lois Vuitton, Chanel, and Dior in close proximity. The Westminster Hotel offers excellent value for money and is affiliated with the Warwick group in New York - a renowned chain of 40 hotels worldwide.
The hotel has with easy access to the metro station, train, and bus. From Charles de Gaulle airport, I took the bus, which made its second stop in Paris. After a lovely Christmas evening around Place Vendome, I appreciated the two bottles of wine waiting for me.
I'll definitely consider staying here again.

It’s gorgeous on first impression but when we politely told them our room was 120* , I had high hopes they’d have it fixed by the time we came back from dinner. The mechanic was there very quickly but hours later nothing had changed. It was our last evening in Paris before flying home early in morning. After trying to convince my husband(who has supervised many resorts/hotels built) to change rooms 3x(all of which were on the same A/C just different floors, so no cooler, he got stern and asked if they were trying to play games. By this time it was midnight and this had been going on for hours. They finally, reluctantly, gave us an upgraded room w working air(it was mid week sept-not full). The worst part was the fact that they must’ve known the rooms A/c didn’t work bc they disabled the phone and we couldn’t call front desk. The phones worked just fine in the upgraded room they hadn’t planned on giving us. I then called down after midnight to inform them I’d need a refund on our pre paid breakfast bc clearly we needed the sleep since it was 1am, now. I was told it was not possible and was pre paid after some confrontational words he said hang on I’ll check w manager, and finally acquiesced. This place came highly recommended by my cousin but I’ll never book here again. They get your money and then try to hang you out to dry, in a room with broken A/C for big buck$.

Dear Lyndia, I just read your review and on behalf of the entire team of the Westminster Hotel our sincere apologies for the A/C. Everytime we have a mechanical situation we take action right away with the company, in your case the company in charge of fixing the AC and sometime it can take a while for it to be fixed, this is beyond our controle and your understanding will be appreciated. Our hotel is a great place and I hope that you will give us another opportunity to show you our wonderful it is. Do not hesitate next time you come to Paris to contact me ahead of time that way I will greet upon your arrival. Kindest Regards,

First have to say excellent position staff are good! Now the not so good. If you book never stay in room 314, it is worse than a 2 star hotel room, the water was so slow coming out of the shower I didn’t have a shower or bath for 4 days, I complained the firs day they couldn’t fix it! I visit Paris on business regularly. I will never stay at The Westminster again ! Edward Freedman

Stayed three nights at this luxurious Hotel. The room was large, with a most comfortable bed. The room was exceptionally clean and organized. The housekeeping supervisor knocked on my door to ensure the housekeeping of the room was appropriate. To which it was. The Hotel had that wonderful Parisian feel. My experience from check in to check out was 5 star. The daily breakfast was delicious. Excellent variety of food. The Hotel staff were all helpful and friendly. The Hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to many attractions. As well, steps to the Metro. I highly recommend this exceptional property.

Eiffel Tower is a long walk but doable. Airport about 1 hour from Westminster hotel depending on traffic. The Westminster hotel is a Parisian style small hotel located near the Opera house in an exclusive expensive shopping district. Love the area.
