Wonderful location easy walking distance to both Eiffel Tower& Arc De triompe. Rooms large for a European hotel & very clean. Also 2 lifts which is a real find in European hotel. Staff extremely helpful & they all spoke English.

Staff English was ok - not as implied - luckily I spoke some French. Some things not working in room as can happen in old buildings but fixed quickly. Could not use air in October so had to have balcony door open and gets noisy (used earplugs). Other hotels do allow air at this time so would be a deal...

Nothing new nor conveniently located though, people are very nice and friendly. I was receiving bunch of business packages everyday but never an error. Loved breakfast and room was clean and street view felt like a French apartment window.

It wasn't our first trip to Paris. This time we were looking for a nice cozy hotel where we could spend some time indoors. Compared to different hotels in Paris (but also of lower standards) room wasn't extremely small and the bathroom was of normal size; it even included a bathtub. We were on the 5th floor with the view...

Let's get straight to the point: the room was very noisy. Every time someone used the water in the hotel there was a terrible clanging noise in the room, enough to wake us both up at night. The first night we stayed wasn't great, however the second night was absolutely awful. It's not a great thing to come home from...

Staying in Trocadero

Neighbourhood Profile
Trocadero
This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
