We just come back from a week-end in Paris, where, mainly based on TripAdvisor ranking, we stayed in the Grand Hotel Français. Unfortunately, we paid the standard rate of 140 € a night for two people in a double bed, without breakfast, which being so far from the center, is clearly overpriced. The room was nice, but… tiny (if we...

This is a great hotel in a very good location literally a minute to a Metro station, and very close to a variety of shops, including bakeries, supermarkets and cafes. The staff were extremely friendly and helfull with travel, tips, on where to eat, and what to say if your French is limited..The room itself was quite small, but that is typical for Paris...

The hotel was wonderful. Traveled to Paris with my three teenage daughters. The rooms were clean and lovely. The location was perfect. Close to great shopping and the Metro. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel staff recommended some incredible restaurants. The hotel staff was able to get reservations at some impossible to get into restaurants. I was...

Would definitely use this hotel again- its super clean with well maintained rooms and in our superior rooms, lovely hydro showers- the rooms are small but that's Paris hotels for you. Its close to the Metro and everywhere is easy to get to. As someone who used to live in Paris, I think somewhere like the 11th is much better...

Spent two nights here with my parents and girlfriend. We had two rooms both facing the street. Both rooms had balconies. We found the staff very friendly and helpful, especially the manager (well, I think he was the manager). The rooms were very clean and modern (very nice bathrooms, in particular). With the balcony doors closed we heard virtually no...

We stayed here for 5 nights in May, and this decision was based on lots of research on Trip Adviser etc. I read the mainly positive and some negative reviews, so we weren't sure what we would find. The hotel more than satisfied all our needs- the room had plenty of room for 2 large suitcases; the airconditioner worked well;...

We arrived from our overnight flight very early in the morning, so of course our room wasn't ready, but the kind person at the desk checked and tagged our luggage and locked it up for us. We took a walk around the neighborhood and found it to be busy and safe. Two Metro stations, Rue De Boulets and Nation are...

Very clean and quiet hotel close to Place de la Nation with bars and restaurants close by. Two metro stations just a short walk away so it's easy to get all around Paris. Reception staff spoke English - very helpful. Good breakfast - pastries, fruit, cereal, etc. Would definitely recommend this hotel
