Myself and other colleges been staying in this hotel for 10 years +, good for a Parisian hotel and very handy for our business. Rooms are very small but comfortable and clean. Check in and out is usually very quick and easy. Lovely breakfast with good selection. Great transport links with metro only minutes walk away, good local restaurants and...

This was my second stay at an Ibis hotel and once again, I was impressed. The first time was in Nîmes. What I loved about both experiences was the serenity of the room. Excellent sound proofing, simple furnishings, and an extremely comfortable bed make for a welcome break from the intensity of touring a strange city, maybe getting caught in...

I booked a double room for 3 nights at this hotel, primarily as it is well located for Gare de Nord and for the Opera at the Bastille (clues in the name!) I wasn't expecting much, but what this hotel does it does well - clean, reasonable prices and in a nice enough part of town. One minor tip, try...

We had previously stayed in another Accor hotel nearby which was not as good as the Ibis. Although it was large , had small rooms it still surpassed the Mecure. The rooms had functioning air con, comfortable bed, good wifi and excellent breakfast at a good price. Location was great and service very good. Would recommend this a reasonably priced...

With all resources on it. This is a normal ibis style but perfectly located near 100 Myra. Breguet savin metro near opera coffee and shops. Without forgetting there is a Sunday market at less than 200 meters. It's essential.

This was my first Ibis so I wasn't sure what to expect. It is a budget hotel and the rooms are not large by any means but it is clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful and the wifi was some of the most stable I'd had in a hotel.

I have booked Ibis as I have been in many other Ibis in other locations around the world, but in this case i was dissapointed, Ibis Bastille is somehow old, tired, run down one. Black mold in shower, room floor damage by water meaning sticking out, old paint, bad heater in the bathroom. Even the employees seem to be tired,...

Been staying at this Ibis when in Paris for over a year and it is no longer the same establishment. The new team members are young and eager. Nice smiles. Showers have mold. Water is all over the bathroom floor when you finish showering no matter how much care you take. Sounds of construction (that has been underway for months)...

Staying in Bastille / Oberkampf

Neighbourhood Profile
Bastille / Oberkampf
Bastille and Oberkampf are lively parts of town made for entertainment. During the day rows of unassuming bars welcome customers for a bite or a drink, but it’s at night this area really comes to life. Students and young professionals fill the busy bars around Bastille and Oberkampf. At Place de la Bastille, crowds flock to the Opéra Bastille in the evening and groups wait for coveted tickets during the day. Towards Republique, skateboarders practice their tricks while others chill out at the square. If you’re looking for late-night revelry, this is your neighbourhood.
