Our family of five enjoyed our stay here. We had the apartment next door to the hotel. Facing an internal courtyard, it was quiet and spacious. The second mezzanine bedroom suitable for three children. Had the added benefit of being able to utilise the concierge services of the hotel. In an excellent location on the edge of the Marais, close...

We spent four nights and found this to be a delightful small hotel, half a block from the splendid Place des Vosges, walkable to the Seine, perfectly situated in the ideal Marais district. We took the rate one notch above basic, which was the right choice. We got a third floor, street facing room so we could swing open the...

This place was decorated very nicely however, the rooms are tiny, no storage for luggage and when we arrived the lift, located on the 1st floor was broken for the first day of our stay. The spiral staircase was difficult to get our luggage up

This is a very nice hotel in the Marais and very close to the beautiful Place des Vosges. Our room was at the topof the hotel one flight up from the elevator which was one flight up from the lobby. The elevator is so small that we were very intimate to get the door closed. We had a comfortable bed...

Good location for sure. Otherwise small nondescript hotel. Rooms very small. TV difficult to get working. Staff were friendly however. Not a hotel I would choose to go back to. Location is only reason to return.

The hotel's number 1 advantage is its location, right by the beautiful Place des Vosges, easily reahable via metro between the Bastille and the St. Paul stations. With Marais being one of Paris' oldest areas, do not expect large spaces or super modern amenities, but this is a lovely boutique hotel in a historical building with the real feel of...

The Hotel Places des Vosges is a charming hotel in the fabulous Marais district of Paris. The lobby is worn and dark but the unbelievably friendly and accommodating staff make it feel warm and comfortable. The rooms are so small that you need to go in the hall to change your mind, however, the bathrooms although tiny, work. A small...

We had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms are beautiful and comfy, the street is nice and quiet, the location is perfect for visiting the heart of Paris on foot, breakfast is great and there's no time limit which is fantastic: if you feel lazy one day, you can have breakfast as late as 11! The coffee was...

Had a wonderful stay here during October-November. Privately owned hotel where the owner (Renee) and the staff aim to please. Anything I requested was quickly addressed. Their breakfast for 8 Euros is very good. Nothing in the area is cheaper or can compare with freshness, amount, and friendly service of breakfast. Steps from place de Vosges, a historical place which...

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
