We spent the August bank holiday in Paris and arrived at the hotel on a friday evening. The staff was very welcoming and helpful although it was 22.30pm. The room was on the 5th floor and had a good size given my previous experience of Paris hotels (I usually go every year). Big bathroom with a tub, aircon and a... More

Our family loved this hotel on one of the best corners of the 6th. The location cannot be beat, blocks from the Buci market, a 10 minute walk from the Louvre, Notre Dame, Musee d'Orsay and near the metro and great cafe's. The Jr Suite was a good choice for families, offering a well designed sitting area and separate bedroom.... More

La Villa Saint-Germain has definitely moved into first place on my list of the Paris hotels I would return to. It is on the corner of rue Jacob and rue Bonaparte, across the street from Laduree (one direction) and Le Pre aux Clercs (another direction), so breakfast, lunch, dinner and nighttime drinks could have been gotten with no more walking... Great service, friendly staff and lovely facilities; room was spacious, clean and well equipped. Really close to Metro as well, and doesn't take long to get there from Gare du Nord on the number 4 line.

Visited as part of a surprise engagement weekend. Room and Staff were amazing. Location was perfect. Agree with other reviewers about the hairdryer but this would not stop us staying here again. Loved it & made a special weekend all that more special.

The room was great - it was a suite with a large salon area which meant that our daughter slept there. The room was clean, with a great view of the street and four enormous windows. Bathroom and amenities were great. Bath itself was rather high and hard to get out of - especially for a pregnant lady. The staff... More

Small boutique hotel. I had a great size room and bathroom for Paris standards. Superb location and great staff. Very close to underground station, museums etc - all within good walking distance. Restaurant on door step and lots more only one block away.

This hotel is small and charming, conveniently located in a great neighborhood. The staff was helpful but not omnipresent. Breakfast is available but not included. The electrical situation was quirky, you have to leave your key card in a slot near the door or the roomdoesnt have electricity so if you want to leave devices charging while your gone you... More

Awesome boutique hotel for couples! Clean, beautiful and super friendly staff. The rooms are not too small but also not very big. The location is perfect as you are in the heart of St Germain and there are restaurant and bars everywhere! Breakfast not great but there are so many breakfast places around, so that was not an issue! Comes... More

Great hotel, well located with very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent service. Rooms are a good size and decent free WiFi. No turn down service but towels and Anne Semonin products available 24 hours a day. Highly recommended we will go again.

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
