Based upon reviews I came on a Saturday night to listen to jazz. It was fun. The quartet was relatively sleepy jazz, but still a nice venue. I arrived early and had a great seat up front. Folks arriving later were likely disappointed. Not the best place for Jazz in Paris, but no cover, so worth it.

After many stays at different left bank hotels,we finally found our home. The Aubusson is perfect. We were greeted with a warm and sincere welcome to this beautiful and luxurious gem. The public rooms are gorgeous with a wood beamed cieling and luxurious upholstered chairs and sofas. We were warned by the enormous fire place which had a crackling fire...

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for her birthday back in Dec 2011 (late entry!) It was everything we wanted and so much more. Hotel D'Aubusson is in the Latin quarter of Paris. A 17th century building it is relatively unnoticeable as you walk past but once you step inside the doors it is opulence and elegance personified....

My wife and I were at the Hotel d'Aubusson over Valentines 2017 and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. First off, if you are crazy enough to drive to Paris, park in the underground parking at 27 Rue Mazarine (Rue=Street). The vehicle entry is one block away from the entrance to the hotel but the back pedestrian entry is on the same...

Gorgeous hotel in a perfect location. Rooms are very nice and the staff is outstanding. Laurent bar next to the lobby is beautiful and have live jazz from Wednesday to Saturday. Flavio runs the bar and us the ultimate bar manager. Incredible breakfast served every morning. This is one of the best hotels in Paris that we have stayed at.

Currently on my 6th week of travel...this was my stay week 2. The memories are still clear. Great bar! Great jazz! Location is pretty incredible. A few steps to classic Paris views including the Louvre, Notre Dame. Awesome little cobblestone alleys, bars and cafes. Found a great cheese and sausage shop around the corner where we tasted and stocked up...

We just had a great stay at Hotel D'Aubusson. The excellence starts with the kind and efficient staff. They were always attentive to our needs and ready to help. I can't say enough about good things about the staff and it was from every member of the team from doorman to head concierge. Our room was comfortable and the bed...

We stayed here 4 nights and loved it.... location is ideal, within walking distance of lots of lovely bistro style places and many of the main sites. Hotel itself is lovely, beautiful decor with little touches like vases of roses all over. Having WIFI is always a necessity for us and this was included in room rate and worked like...

We stayed here for one night. Great comfort, lovely setting/location. Great breakfast. The hotel dates from the 17th century and the ancient beams are splendidly evident. The sitting lounge is lovely. The rooms were excellent--the bed gloriously comfortable. The shower luxuriant.

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
