We had booked this hotel for our fist visit to France. It was definitely a very good pic! Good price and well as quality. Clean and modern rooms, with all the necessities and very good shower-bathroom area. Room was every time well cleaned and prepared. Staff is very nice and hospitable. It was a very first time, when the expectation...

I booked my husband in this hotel 2 years ago when he came to Paris on business. He liked it so much that we decided to stay here on our current trip and I'm glad we did. Our 5th floor room had a comfortable queen bed and a good size bathroom that we paid 98 euros a night for. Great...

I booked this hotel via Expedia a year in advance with pay on arrival so with the drop in value of the pound it did become quite expensive (not the hotels fault). That said it's a lovely clean and friendly environment. The staff are polite friendly and very efficient helping with all of our needs. In terms of location it's...

The hotel has quite a good location a few minutes walk from Vavein metro station and Norte Dam du Champs. Our room was a little on the small side but comfortable. It might be a challenge for a couple with large suitcases. The bed was excellent. The bathroom modern and spacious. The internet was excellent. I recommend including breakfast in...

The hotel is centrally located . The rooms are adequately sized keeping the hotel rooms of Paris in mind . The staff is extremely hospitable . It is right next to a Starbucks. You can find several restaurants an eateries in the vicinity . All together , it's a good hotel .

We never been to Parise before so when booked didn't realise the hotel was is such a central and posh area of the city. We found the hotel by using trivago and we have been very lucky. Polite and very kind staff, suggestive atmosphere, a petit gem indeed. We had breakfast that was delicious with both french and European selections....

Long story short, this hotel let us get a room at 5AM. We had lost the key to our AirBnB at some point in the night and had nowhere to go once we realized this at 4AM. I buzzed a few times and was greeted by a rather grumpy man but, to his defense, we had woken him up at...

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
