My family and I stayed at this hotel earlier this year (Winter). We traveled from the U.S. Pros: -Restaurant has great food, especially the breakfast buffet! They make fresh omelettes to order. -The restaurant manager, Mr. Amirul is wonderful! He is very friendly, professional, and goes above and beyond to serve his guests. He also translates alot because most of...

This is a hotel operated by the Hyatt chain and hopefully they will freshen the place just a little. Our room was very nice, just a little dated, with a view of a street courtyard where buskers performed. Very nice. Just steps away was the entrance to the mall at the Louvre where you could get a subway train if...

While I have been a loyal Hyatt Diamond member for some 20 years, this is my first stay at the Hotel du Louvre which is not surprising as it has only recently come into the Hyatt brand. Yes it is not a Park Hyatt and may not be been as "slick" as Park Hyatt Washington, Tokyo, Paris or Sydney or...

Just came back from a weekend at this hotel. A downtown hotel in a busy area but so close to the Metro and of course, the Louvre. The staff were so friendly and helpful especially with helping set up the phone and Wifi, along with helping us navigate the Metro. Room was clean and beautiful. Buffet in morning was unbelievable....

Fantastic hotel with a more local than chain like feel. Modest language skills will help get the best experience but are NOT required. Centrally located to everything! If the walls could talk i can only imagine the stories that could be told here. The sidewalk cafe is perfect for a slow coffee and people watching. Breakfast were delicious! The concierge...

We enjoyed staying in this hotel. It's close to the Louvre and metro. It is located in a very busy area so if you're looking for a quiet hotel to stay then this may not be the place for you. The service was good and the staff attentive. The elevator was slow so we took the stairs most of the...

We stayed here for a couple of nights and it was fine, but we would not do it again. The location, looking directly onto the Louvre is a unique experience and it's near several Metro stops. I agree with the majority of reviewers who write that this hotel is greatly overpriced if paying the normal rate, because of the condition of the rooms, which were last decorated several decades ago and are looking seriously worse for wear. However, as we must judge things contextually, this hotel still rates Very Good in my book for Paris, for...
