Stayed here for a few days at the end of July and loved it. The location is fabulous- Montmartre is excellent and this neighborhood is particularly lovely. I met the nicest people and travelled all over the city from here with no problem at all. It's a short walk to the Abbessess metro station and a short (but steep) walk...

I started my trip staying at the Novotel, Pont Neuf for work n then moved to Audran for the last 2 nights. Audran gave me a better feel of comfort and the loved the location as it in the middle of Montmarte... center of cafes and artists and party animals.. A very clean hotel and great for the price.. the...

Stopped in Montmatre for 1 night on way to south of France. Travelling with teenagers and a dog. Have stayed around rue d'abbesses before and like the location for lively atmosphere and cafes etc. This hotel is in great location. It offers good value for money. Rooms were cheaper (and larger!) than others we have stayed in. Staff were friendly...

The room was basic but clean and had a good shower. The location is wery good and a lot of restaurants and shops near. The hotel offers a free wi-fi and even has a computer you can use. Every one was very friendly. I would stay there agin.

We had read some reviews of this hotel and thought it was worth a punt, so we did! Turns out, we had found a reasonably priced, no frills, does-what-it-says-on-the-tin hotel. If your expecting anything better than a bed & breakfast with a lift, you'll be disappointed. However, the location is fantastic, with the Moulin Rouge, Sacre Coeur and a myriad...

This was a basic no-frills room, only 60 euros a night, which is a pretty good price. Just a short walk from the metro station. You can use the Abbesses as the nearest stop, and also the Blanche, and the Pigalle stations are about similar distance but maybe a little trickier to navigate. It is a pleasant walk around the...

Stayed here after finding our first choice fully booked. Bit nervous as we couldn't find any reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were really helpful, the room was clean and it has been recently refurbished. They were still doing some works on it throgh our stay but it didn't affect us at all. There is a (tiny!) lift...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.

“Perhaps phone the hotel for the price before booking through Trip Advisor, Booking.com etc. I stayed an extra night but was charged 66% of the room price compared to my initial 2 night booking. It made me think that online bookings don't actually get you the best price.”
