Stayed for two nights. The hotel is basic but clean and the staff are welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was good value at 6 euros. The hotel was a little noisy but then you are in a city. The area is great. The Abbesse metro is just metres away and it's a short walk (up a steep hill) to the...

This hotel was a little on the shabby side but fairly inexpensive and clean. The staff was very kind and helpful. The elevator was fairly good sized. The location was great, off metro lines, in the heart of Monmarte. If you have trouble walking hills, I would NOT recommend staying in Monmarte, but it was a peaceful area with loads...

The staff is very kind, friendly and helpful. They allow us to early check-in even there is a little problem with the payment confirmation from the provider. At first we have difficulties to find the hotel. The location is good, the train and bus station are in walking distance.

My sister and I (both in our 20s) stayed Saturday through to Tuesday in January. The location is fab. Close to supermarket, bars, restaurants, shops, subway. Everything is on your doorstep. The staff are unbelievably accommodating and helpful - answered any questions we had, printed our shuttle bus tickets and gave some helpful tips on the area. The beds are...

Stayed here mid-January 2017 for a weekend away with my rugby club. Great place to stay, very clean comfy rooms and beds. The hotel is basic but I was only sleeping there. The local area is packed with great restaurants and bar, the hotel is approx 5 mins walk from the local metro station (Blanche)

We stayed at Hotel Audran for 3 nights in November 2016. The hotel was easy to find and we received a warm welcome. I'd booked the hotel through travelrepublic and there was a problem when we arrived as the hotel couldn't find evidence of our booking....i'd already paid in full a couple of months beforehand, so this was worrying, but...

The hotel is within easy walking distance of three Metro stations and within easy walking distance of at least nine great restaurants. The hotel itself is simple, unpretentious, and completely functional. Even the small elevator was punctual! Breakfasts were good, and the staff, a delight. The sleeping room had all the necessary features and the bed was very comfortable. The room...

This hotel is sort of retro, you get one key to your room with a massive wooden key chain so it's hard to loose! The rooms unfortunately are not soundproofed but for the price everything is fine and does what it should, when we requested an iron and wifi code we were provided with both straight away. The staff at...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.

“Perhaps phone the hotel for the price before booking through Trip Advisor, Booking.com etc. I stayed an extra night but was charged 66% of the room price compared to my initial 2 night booking. It made me think that online bookings don't actually get you the best price.”
