First off, the address at TripAdviser is wrong. The studio is on Rue Andre del Sarto, not Passage Lepic. The studio, which consists of a large room (by Paris standards) and bath is very pleasant. It is adjacent to the base of Sacre Coeur, with 2 Metro stops nearby and lots of good restaurants within a short walk. The security...

I stayed at Studio Amelie for a 4 day/night first trip to Paris. I was travelling by myself and was a bit anxious about being in a foreign country but host Valerie was more than welcoming and ensured I had all the information available to make my way around. Very friendly and helpful. The apartment has everything you need for...

How lucky we were to have found this little studio in Alastair Sawday's lists of special places to stay. From the moment we saw the pictures online and received our first email from Valerie we knew this was a good choice. A lovely little studio with a double bed and lots of room for two people plus luggage. The small...

Excellent small studio in the heart of Montmartre. A bakery in the same block and a Carrefour around the corner made it easy for us to prepare our own meals. Excellent place to stay for the small family and a safe place to stay as the studio is located in a small inner courtyard. Our host Valerie being very friendly...

I believe Valerie owns two rentals--one at the Eiffel Tower and one in Montmarte. We stayed at the Eiffel Amelie. Nice, very nice. Metro is 200 meters away, Rue Cler with all the food and cafes you can imagine is 50 meters away. Bus #69 stops right in front of the apartment on Rue Grenelle and will take you to...

Studio Amelie (Eiffel) is a nicely decorated, very secure, quiet, first floor apartment that is very well located, being about 1 kilometre from the Eiffel Tower, about 250 metres from the La Tour-Maubourg Metro Station and just around the corner from Rue Cler - a popular restaurant and market area. The apartment has a comfy bed, well equipped kitchen, a...

We had a marvelous 6 night stay in this nice studio. We could walk to all the main attractions. We were around the corner of Rue Cler which had some lovely food choices and shops. We felt at home here and would recommend it to friends and family.

To celebrate my 50 th birthday we decided to go to Paris. My husband and I stayed at Studio Amelie Eiffel from 23 December to 30 December 2011. In one sentence. Look no further. This is the place to stay if you want a self-catering studio in the heart of Paris and a stone throw away from the Eiffel tower....

I was visiting Paris for the first time with my husband and we had the good fortune of finding this little apt. From the first email interactions with Valerie, the owner, we had nothing but great information, honesty, helpful hints and directions. We really enjoyed our breakfasts with a great bakery just steps away and ended up cooking quite a...

We stayed at Studio Amelie for 5 days in october 2011 and had a fantastic time! The Studio itself is cosy, clean and well equipped. Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
