Hotel le Petit Paris

Very clearly the basin sink drain is blocked!! I reported this on more than one occasion nothing was done! I am only holiday and want to enjoy myself- it always amazes me how a friendly disposition makes people think they can take advantage of one! Perhaps one should rather be rude , insistent and abrasive to get things done! What a very sad world we live in??!!🥲🥲

My partner and I stayed in this hotel for our short trip to Paris.

When we arrived the staff were all very friendly greeting us and checking in was swift. The staff were kind enough to upgrade our hotel room which we were very grateful for!

The hotel is located closely to restaurants and the Pantheon, it is only a short walk to the sights in Paris whilst still being tucked away so that it is not too loud/busy at night.

The rooms are a decent size for a short trip, our rooms were cleaned every day to a great standard and our towels were replaced with fresh ones.

We never tried the breakfast, so I cannot comment on that aspect. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is located in the south bank of the Seine river, very close to the Latin Quarter. Like most hotels in the city center of Paris, it is not big and can be considered a boutique hotel with at most 30 rooms. The rooms are small in size as well but enough to be comfortable if you plan to be most of the time sightseeing. The negative point is that only French tv channels are available and the amenities are not replenished daily. In our case, our room was facing to the patio. So it was very quiet; we heard no noise from the corridor and other rooms either.

The best is the location. It is by walking distance to the Seine river, Latin Quarter, Pantheon, Notre Dame, Luxembourg gardens etc. Public transportation is widely available as well with the RER B at a couple of blocks. From and to Orly airport, it is very convenient the RER B + Orlyval. It takes a little bit more than 30m. There are also plenty of bus lines. The only exception are metro stations with the nearest one at 15m. The area has many restaurants and cafes and more dinning options are available in the Latin Quarter. To Versailles palace we took the bus to Gare Montparnasse and the N line train because the RER C was not available. Anyway, it was easy and with many trains.

The breakfast in the hotel is recommendable. It is served in a nice and not very busy area . Do not expect a lot of food because there are not many patrons but enough and replenished accordingly.

The staff were nice, attentive and willing to help at all times. Good quality/price ratio.

This is a lovely hotel in a super location. It is very clean and the staff were very friendly. Would suggest opting for the larger room if possible. The standard rooms are small but still do the job, very quiet at night and extremely comfortable beds. Nice complimentary tea, coffee and juices in the lobby during the day too.

Very handy to get to the hotel from Charles de Gaulle Airport. Take the RER B train to the Luxembourg Metro station (about 45 mins) only €10 approx, then just a 2 min walk to the hotel. It's near lots of lovely restaurants and brunch/breakfast places.

The staff was very welcoming, friendly and attentive, the hotel has a perfect location near Luxembourg. The hotel is one of those typically small Parisian ones, but the reception area is generous and the bedroom was very well laid out and functional. Bedding was top quality! I have no hesitation recommending this hotel and will definitely be returning.

My family (3 adult couples) recenly returned from an incredible 1 week stay at Hotel le Petit Paris! The staff are simply amazing, and we cannot say enough about the truly excellent service we experienced. The responsiveness/communication prior to our arrival were quick and informative, which gave us confidence for our upcoming stay. We interacted with Val and Saed the most, and both were always so incredibly kind and helpful, recommending things to do, best way to get there, and best times to go. Karim, the fantastic manager, is a wealth of information, and he gave us several tips for our first visit to Paris which were invaluable! The hotel staff went above and beyond every day, and for our first time in Paris, the individual care and attention made the trip!

The hotel itself is lovely, located conveniently just a block or so from the RER, as well as several main bus lines. Literally within footsteps are a laundry, convenience mart, fromagerie, excellent patisseries, and a pharmacy all on the same block. Also within the block or so are some excellent french restaurants, as well as a huge variety of ethnic establishments (Chinese, Lebanese, Indian, sushi, pizza, etc), we could not have asked for more convenience for our stay!

We had rooms facing both the street and the inner courtyard on the third floor, and with the excellent heavy duty windows and blackout curtains, none of us were bothered by any outside noise. There is a lovely terrace where we spent many an evening enjoying the fresh air after a long day about town. The lobby couches provided a nice meeting spot for our group, and we also greatly enjoyed the free afternoon tea and coffee, which was a very nice perk. The value for the price range of this hotel is excellent!

We had an amazing time on our first trip to Paris, and we truly believe that the staff at Hotel le Petit Paris played a huge part in making that happen with their kindness and excellent service. Thank you so much for an unforgettable trip!!!

As a value for money, friends of mine stayed in a cheaper place at the same location for the half price. I expected something extra for this value. Restaurant for example. Anyway, great service, clean rooms and good location. The room was small though.

Nice location near the Sorbonne and the Luxembourg Gardens and importantly away from the tourist vortex on and right next to the Ile de France. Friendly staff. The right price. Our room was small but smartly arranged so the size did not matter. What did matter was that we could open our windows (situated such that there was no fear of someone being able to come in during the night) and it was quiet outside our window... in Paris! Amazing. It overlooked the central courtyard. We gave this hotel 4 stars instead of 5 because its breakfast was not as good as the rest of the hotel. One had to ask specially to get an espresso or cappuccino or.... American coffee was on offer and one reason we go to Paris is to distance ourselves from American coffee. Somehow the breakfast space is not welcoming; the decor perhaps. On the other hand the living room is beautiful and there is a wet bar always available on the honor system. We sat there in the evening with some friends; it was an inviting place. If we go to Paris again, we will stay at the Petit Paris.

Dear Richard, We are always happy to read reviews from our guests, it helps us to improve.Thank you for your contribution and your positive experience with us.We noted your request for more espresso or cappucino, we do have the Nespresso machine in our kitchen (do to the lack of space at our buffet breakfast) and we are glad to prepare theses coffees on request. We will inform our breakfast lady to suggest them more often during breakfast service. Some guests prefer filter coffee, some espresso, we adapt to everyone. In the pleasure of welcoming you soon, Our best regards The Team

A very friendly hotel with a refreshing contemporary feel and attitude - most relaxed. Very convenient for walking round the sights and the back streets of Paris - the 20 minute walk to the Seine by Notre Dame was as enjoyable as anything else we did. They speak English but were happy to speak French to us, so it felt very personal. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel in a good location. the rooms are small. the shower was dripping all over which was not very comfortable.
its a nice 3 star hotel. not a 4 star. breakfast had a small offering, some of the items were not available on time. coffee is very average. price seems high for what you actually get.
