Booked this hotel based on the area of the hotel and absolutely loved it! We were allocated a "Privilege Room" on check in and the room was nice and large with a great little juliet balcony! Bathroom was of decent size as well. Breakfast was a great little set up of continental choices and a couple of hot choices (scrambled...

Located in the center of Paris, with a lot of nice restaurants and bars in the area. Friendly staff, and a superior room on the 5th floor. Bathroom was clean and tidy, as was the bedroom . Bit noisy on the downside...

Excellent location, most main attractions can be reached on foot. The room was very clean and comfortable.Hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. We stayed in a superior room which had tea & coffee making facility. Breakfast was adequate for our needs.Plenty of restaurants nearby. Quiet stay until Friday night when party in opposite building was loud.Just take some ear plugs! Take the...

Great location near to the Opera and staff were friendly. Hotel is near to restaurants, bars etc and very close to numerous metro stations and the Gare St Lazare. Rooms at the front of the hotel (where I was) are noisy into the evenings as the bar/restaurant opposite has coach parties and music until late. On the Saturday evening I...

Both myself and my twin room buddy were severally bitten by bed bugs. I wish I could upload photos. When I approached the staff about the issue I was ignored. Not happy. Good location, but I would not recommend this hotel.

I made my booking through Booking.com and there was an error with the booking where the hotel thought that I had booked 2 rooms under my name, despite my confirmation clearly saying 1 room. When I phoned I spoke to a dreadfully rude lady who wouldn't give me an email address to send my booking confirmation through to in order...

where do I start - arrived in Paris for the heat wave, couldn't find air con in room, apparently it was behind the door which we found out 2 days to late ( when I asked for a fan ), so had to sleep with window open with the noise of Paris. Breakfast was terrible, the worst on our trip,...

This hotel was booked thru a travel agency at the end of a convention trip. I expected it to be old and quaint and it was! Our room was small but clean. Bath was old but adequate. We booked it for the historic value and location and did not spend much time in the room. I would have given it...

First of all I booked for the experience of this being the historic home of Lautrec but no I got a room next door at conjoined hotel with no advise re this. The room was grubby but the heavily stained bed spread was revolting. The aspect that was most distressing was re booking of shuttle bus to airport. I paid...

The hotel is in a great location in the opera region of Paris and in a very quiet street. The lady behind the desk was very helpful but the rooms are very small which is the only setback especially when you are staying for 5 days like I did. The breakfast is average. Breakfast is between 6.30 and 10.00. The...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
