Boutique Hotel in Paris. With good location, clean rooms and adequate price. Small room. Beautiful decor! When I come back, will stay here again! The surprise was for a mouse that was strolling in the lobby.

As i was travelling for business to Brussels I decided to stay in Paris over the weekend. I arrived very early but the room was ready and I left late and I could stay in the room until 14:00. The service was good and I used the sauna and gym. The sauna could use a renovation. Only during the breakfast...

Me (25) and my girlfriend (24) spent 3 nights at Hotel Banke for a short stay between Christmas and New Year (27th Dec - 30th Dec 2016). The Hotel on a whole was magnificent; The fixtures and fittings we classy and elegant whilst holding the natural charm of what used to be a Bank in its former life prior to...

It was a pleasure to stay in this hotel. We came to Paris from London on the Eurostar and stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is quite close from the Gare du Nord. The staff is nice. The rooms clean and tidy upon arrival, even though we checked in at 9am. There is a noce restaurant downstairs...

The Hotel is at a wonderful location with great places to eat within a short walk. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was never a language barrier. Breakfast was very tasty and prompt service. Rooms very modern, clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris

We've stayed in Paris many times and know the city well but would never have found the Hotel Banke had it not been for the SLH website. It had extra appeal for us to try it as we've stayed at sister 'Derby Hotels Collection' properties in Barcelona and Madrid and enjoyed them very much. A word on SLH, I would...

Did a weekend trip to Paris via Brussels few days back using the train and arriving at Gare Nord. Opted for a hotel close to Galleries La Fayette and found Hotel Banke had a great deal so thought why not! Apparently the hotel was a Bank a century ago and hence the name. You get the feeling you're entering one...

Overall an enjoyable experience (especially as the management were excellent, the location is great and the sweets/drinks in the lobby are exceptionally welcome!) though a word of warning about the room descriptions. Depending on your idea of what a 5* hotel should look and feel like, both superior (the lowest grade) and executive (the next grade up) are small and...

This post is a bit overdue but nonetheless is the memory and the quality of the Banke Hotel still very vivid. The hotel has beautiful features of Egyptian art mixed with a playful baroque and bohemian influences. The main hall's ceiling is magnificent! I stayed on the top floor and had an amazingly spacious room with a mesmerising view at...

This hotel was absolutely worth the money in our opinion. Location was perfect. The service was fantastic and we felt very much at home. We were sad to leave and go home to London hahaha. We are going back in the summer.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
