The Hotel is located in a perfect location for the Opera. We booked a superior room but were given a normal room which was dark, on the second floor with the sound and vibration of the metro which runs underneath. It clearly shows in the photos on the hotel website that our room was not a larger room which we had booked although the guy on reception assured us that is was. Having not slept I went to reception at 6.00 a.m and was told that another room was available. When we came to move rooms the room we were allocated was no longer available. There was fortunately, another one on the 5th floor which was quieter. The room was fine but no way 4 star. No robes, no slippers, basic dispenser shower gel from a cheap brand, no cleaning (only after 7 days apparently) thin small towels, lumpy foam pillows. Attention to detail missing - like the wifi password is changed every month apparently, which lead to a trail of people having to go to reception to ask about why they lost wifi when a notice could easily be put in reception. We had no tissues the dispenser and someone complained that they has no shower gel and a leaking sink. Lovely staff but very sloppy management which could easily be fixed. NO way this is a 4 star hotel.

The rooms are a little rundown. Carpet in floor corridors should be changed asap. We stayed 2 times within few days and we had 2 different rooms (same category though). None of the rooms was completely OK. In room 602 hairdryer was stopping after about 20 seconds; bedsheets were not completely clean (washed and some stains remained). Room 318 closet door was out of its rails. In both room wooden parket floor could need a refresh. In normal times when room rates would have been higher, I would have complained.

I have mixed feelings about these apartments.
About the positive. The main advantage is the excellent location two minutes from Printemps. Across the road there is a nice bistro called Auber. The area of the apartment is, of course, larger compared to a standard room in a Parisian hotel. We had a two-room, two-story suite on the top floor. Room 504, windows facing the street. Living room with access to the balcony and bedroom in the attic. Two bathrooms: downstairs toilet with sink, upstairs full bathroom. Not all rooms in this category are two-story. My parents had room 610 of the same category, one-story, with windows overlooking a quiet courtyard-well, with one bathroom. Now, who cares what is more important? The apartments have everything you need: iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner, dishwasher, microwave, dishes. There is no washing machine, but you can go down to the -1st floor, there is a washing machine there.
Now about the doubtful part. The overall impression is 3 stars, despite the recent renovation. I would say this is a modest cosmetic renovation: poor, but clean, the plumbing is fresh. I lived in other apartments of this chain, they were still better. If you book less than 7 nights, no one will clean, change towels, or take out the trash. No privileges for me, as a Gold client, and even for my parents, who had the same number, they have Diamond status with Accor. No welcome drink, nothing. Entrance from the street is only possible with a smart card. Very often there was no one at the reception, especially in the evening, and new guests stood at the entrance with suitcases, unable to enter.
And the toughest thing. One evening, when we returned to our room, we found a MOUSE on the stove. She apparently came running from the slightly open dishwasher, where there was a gap at the top, and disappeared there.

I went to this hotel for the first time at the beginning of January. It was very late when I arrived so I went straight to bed and realised when I got on it that it was a retractable bed with a rather thin mattress. The next morning after having had quite a bad night I asked the front desk if I could get a room with a proper bed. It wasn't possible because all rooms were booked. Since I had another trip coming in 2 weeks, I told the front desk that I would cancel it unless they could put me in a room with a proper hotel bed next time I come. The attendant told me it was no problem, keyed a few strokes in the system for my next reservation, then told me it was all arranged. I therefore kept my upcoming reservation. When I arrived for this last trip 2 weeks later, however, I was told it was impossible to honor this upgrade as it was subject to availability. If I had known that, I would have cancelled my reservation and got into a hotel.

The room had tons of amenities including a dishwasher, but not a proper bed!

We booked 2 rooms, one for me and my wife and one for our parents. We requested rooms close together so at first they gave us room 408 and 406. When we got there, someone was already staying in 406. It was SOOO AWKWARD!

While in room 408, the wifi was so slow that my zoom audio calls were disconnected twice in a 30 minute call. Speedtest shows only 10mbps on 4th floor. If you take a room on the 2nd floor wifi is 40mbps

The bathroom sink clogged and black debris came floating back into the sink on day 1 in room 408.

When we went to the first floor to do laundry, it said 5 Euros for washer and 2.50 Euros for dryer. We put 10 Euros in the machine and no change was given! We went to the front desk, and the gentlemen did not know what to do, he told me to wait for his colleague to finish coffee to come help me. I sat in the lobby for 15 minutes then he put on his backpack and left. His colleague came out and had no idea what I was talking about.

Location is excellent, the staff were nice. The rooms are spacious and there is everything you need in it but the bed is a sofa bed so it is not very confortable. Plus it is very expensive and you have to pay more if u want extra towel or if u want them to clean the room.

Dear Nalima 792126, Although we are delighted to hear that you appreciated the location and the staff , we are sorry that other aspects left you with somewhat mixed feelings. I am sorry that the high quality bed specially designed for Adagio did not meet your expectations. This design has been specially chosen for Adagio aparthotels. Regarding the daily housekeeping, as in every aparthotel, is an optional extra. I hope that nevertheless you are left with good memories of your stay at the aparthotel Adagio Paris Opera. Hoping to see you again soon at one of our aparthotels. Kind Regards.

Terrible terrible experience. Have been here for 1month now for a corporate stay and I have never been so poorly treated in a hotel. I had to complain about the cleaning multiple times, as in the day of the weekly cleaning, the room was dusty and dirty. The room internet is unsecure and unreliable, the kitchen appliances do not work properly and are in very bad shape. I had my room AC shut of and complained multiple times, even to the manager but no to avail. They keep lying and claiming that it is fixed when it isn't (it used to work fine before). The laundry machines are dirty and do not work properly either, despite being way too overpriced and not included in the stay fares. I am sick and tired of this hotel, overall a terrible experience to avoid.

1. The hotel posted "family welcome", however, kids at 3 years old is regarded as adult, i.e. a family of 2 adults and a little kid are required to book either 2 rooms or an expensive one bedroom suite which is small only 35 sq. m., it costs euro 450+ for 1 night.
If booked 2 rooms @ 20 sq.m., total cost will be euro 400+ for 1 night.
2. Location is good...the only advantage of this hotel.
3. The poorest hotel service that I have ever met ( I'd been travelled around several continents for over 3 years, for both leisure and business).
4. Staffs rarely responded to guests' complaints, and not even keen to resolve problems.

Though the location is good, there are many other quality hotels within the area. Consider I paid euro 450+ for a 350 sq.ft suite, I can pick any hotel in Vendome area at such price.

My third visit to the to delightful Paris this year. I had stayed in Adagio, Bastille this year already. So expected same quality, but was disappointed

Great location, 5 mins from the main shopping stores, restaurants. But my room was small compared to Bastille's, worse of all the shower was the weakest I had ever experienced and the sink plug handle was missing.

An unloved and uncared for Hotel room.

Great location but very pricey and poor quality. The shower temperature changed between hot (scolding) to cold. The stove in the apartment did not work. The receptionist had to go into the fuse box and reset it. The next day the stove did not work and again it had to be reset. The third day we gave up. The sink plug in the bathroom would not open so we had to go under the sink unit and push it up. Reception told twice but no repair made. The television volume was set to very low and so we were not able to increase the sound. A technician said it was to do with the remote and they would replace it. Waited and then asked again. A second remote appeared but still no solution. At £1,000 plus for 3 nights one would expect an apartment that works - very disappointed.

Normally these hotels don't allow early check in so early, or they just charge you for extra 1/2 day. What they will do is store your luggage for you until check-in time. Best for you to email and ask to confirm. Have a nice trip!
