I agree with every positive comment here, but there ia an ashtray in the room and the hall smells badly of smoke (our room is ok). Can't turn on the ac because smoke wafts in and can't leave the window open because there are hungry mosquitos. I found out the hard way the first night.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel on our Parisian getaway. It is about as good as you can get for a hotel in Paris in this price range. Great value and great location. The room we had was well-maintained and insulated. While not terribly expansive in size, it was reasonable by Parisian standards and came with a well-appointed...

We really liked this hotel and our modern room and bathroom. Yes, it is trendy and the shower was so interesting that we managed to flood the bathroom floor one morning. The room was not huge but we did manage even with two great lumping suitcases. We didn't try the breakfast as we thought we could do better elsewhere. We...

You can't beat the location! About a 10 minute leisure walk from Notre-Dame. Old building, but modernized. Very contemporary decor, but very French. Breakfast is basic- to go "Bistrot La Grange" nearby instead. Had a room with two single beds. Bathrooms lack privacy. Room 54 isn't too bad for two people sharing who aren't a couple. Very clean. Comfy beds...

My husband and I stayed here as a treat for his birthday. It is a beautiful little hotel, very tastefully designed and decorated, and immaculately clean and well maintained. However, I wish that the people who had designed the rooms had also tried to stay in them for a couple of days before settling on the use of space. It's...

We just got home from our stay at the Hotel de Notre Dame. We stayed five nights and it exceeded every expectation I had of service and value for money in Paris. With so many hotel options in Paris we found it very hard to select a hotel which ticked all the boxes for us- being location, price, service, cleanliness...

We booked this hotel as a package with our Eurostar tickets and couldn't have been more thrilled! The hotel is only a short distance and a cheap fare on the Metro from Gare du Nord to St Michel Notre Dame, then a 5 minute walk to the hotel. We arrived around 12 noon to a very welcoming reception and were...

The Hotel de Notre Dame is a small jewel, discretely tucked away from the hustle and bustle of traffic of all sorts, and yet with nearly unimaginable ease of access to Boulevard St. Germain, the Latin Quarter, Notre Dame, etc. It would be difficult to find a better location from which to tour Paris as a pedestrian. The staff was...

Brilliant location down a quiet street just moments from the bustling Latin quarter and Notre Dame. rooms are tiny but perfectly formed. The decor is witty and the staff very friendy and laid back. Plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars all around. Very central and just 2 stops on the RER from Eurostar - Gare du Nord.

I recently took my mother to Paris for her 75th birthday and stayed here. The hotel was stylish and central to everything. The rooms are teeny tiny but beautifully appointed. The staff were amazing - they even printed metro directions to where ever we wanted to go - even the Louboutin store!. There were lots of cafes close by that...

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
