I had struggled looking for perfect accommodation in Paris, I was after some kind of view without a ridiculous price tag! The Hotel La Comtesse provided this, we found it was best to book via the hotel directly, at the time we booked they were offering 10% discount on top of rates that were already cheaper that other booking websites. My husband and I stayed in one of their Duchesse rooms (room 601) and were able to upgrade to a balcony (they send you a questionnaire a view days before your trip and ask if you’d like the upgrade - this is an extra 40 euros per night), it was fabulous to have the balconys (we had two in our room) it’s worth noting that the other rooms (without balcony’s) seem to have large windows that would also be great if you didn’t want to spend the extra money! There are lots of great restaurants close by and also a metro station, although when we were there there was a train strike so it’s also convenient that there is a taxi stand across the street. There is also a little supermarket a street over that is 24/7 which sells wine, beer and other assorted products (it’s quite big). The staff were always friendly and made check in and check out easy and pleasant. I would definitely stay again!

We spent a week here in February, and were impressed with the hotel location, the staff and the food. We had a great breakfast here every day - the restaurant and staff were excellent. The view from the window of the Eiffel Tower was great - and the location in general was outstanding.
The only minor problems were that the room was pretty small (space being at a premium in Paris I guess) for the money, was't always cleaned well, there were no USB points, and despite early check in being agreed some guests had left late leading to a few people being stranded without a room until later.
Overall, I'd thoroughly recommend this hotel

Not only our location truly is great (very central and in one of the nicest areas of the city), but the view our rooms have to offer of the most well know Parisian symbol - the Eiffel Tower - is simply amazing. Here is a list of the room we can offer you : Side View of the Eiffel Tower with balcony option : Baronne room 1st room category (size bed 160 x 200 cm) Marquise room (king 180 x 200 or twin bed 90 x 200 cm ) Duchess room (king 180x 200 or twin bed 90 x 200 cm) Facing view of the Eiffel Tower Comtesse room (king size bed 180x200 or twin bed 90 x 200) + balcony option Junior Suite Royale Room (king zie bed or twin bed ) La Comtesse Hotel Tour Eiffel **** is still, as we speak, a typical Paris hotel with a nice and intimate ambiance. Some room with supplement. Early c/in we try to give the best service to our customer if you want also an early c/in option available online don't forget to book it ;) As you said rooms are not so big but they are in the european standart so as in London or in the Us in New york, we are closed to the famous Rue Cler is only one block away from us. But we also have numerous other major tourist attractions walking distance : The Eiffel Tower, Invalides Army Museum, Tomb of Napoleon, Rodin Museum, Champs Elysees. We just had to write a review after we got engaged at this hotel during our recent stay (Thursday 11 August to Saturday 13 August). I had been planning our surprise trip to Paris for a couple of months and the hotel staff couldn’t have been more helpful as the whole experience was one that we will never forget. Not only was the room prepared with champagne and flowers, the staff were fantastic to welcome us to the hotel and they played along with the surprise when needed. The room itself (605) was a dream. We have never stayed in a room with a better view - seeing the Eiffel Tower day and night was truly amazing - from the balcony and even from the shower! The hotel clearly made every effort to put us in a great room to make the proposal a special occasion and it was really appreciated. The location of the hotel is fantastic with a short walk to the Eiffel Tower and access to the local metro service, there are also some great restaurants nearby. We will definitely be returning here to relive the amazing memories at Hotel La Comtesse.

You are paying for a premium price hotel because some rooms have a balcony with a view on it. But you cannot even guarantee yourself a balcony even if you book it in advance or pay any extra. So then your left with a very small room and if you want a selfie with the Eiffel Tower you would have to stick half your body out of the window. If you want to celebrate somthing special I would advise to pay a little extra and stay at the Pullman hotel which you can book and be sure to have a balcony room with even better views as its a stone throws away from the Eiffel tower. It also has a more spacious balcony area.

This is the concept of a boutique hotel in a old building. We add the information the balcony is only an option upon availability We do our maximum but we cant give satisfaction to all of you regarding the rooms yoiu have 5 option the 1st one cheapest and smallest room category after more you pay bigger is the room like the seat in a plane Dont' forget europe Standard are not Us bulding is build end of 19th century and the 1st room category baronne is only 14m² but this info is written everywhere Pullman hotel is 300 rooms so don't compare a yatch and a paquebot (plus rate is more 350 euros /night) kind regards daniel JUDKIEWICZ Director

I booked a room with an Eiffel Tower view and balcony, and I paid in full at the time of booking. La Comtesse canceled my reservation (understandably) after they closed due to Covid-19. They refused to refund my money. I had reservations at three other boutique hotels during my France vacation, and all three refunded my money in full after they were forced to cancel. They did "offer" to rebook me in a room (without the balcony I paid for) in August. I asked to get a copy of their booking policies in writing four times and was denied. Disappointing, unethical, poor customer service. Please don't stay here!

This is the best city hotel we have ever been to. Perfect cleanliness, very comfortable beds and a large (and huge for Paris) room.
The Eiffel Tower is visible from every room and balcony, as well as from the bar.
The breakfast is delicious, the coffee is excellent

Awesome hotel. We had a side view balcony of the Eiffel Tower from the 5th floor and the room was excellent. It looks like the majority of balcony rooms are on the 5th floor and the other floors may have a couple balcony room. The room was very clean and modern. The staff was very friendly and helpful and provided us with many recommendations and tips for getting around. The buffet breakfast was really good and we included. Breakfast with our booking. Anyone looking for a clean, up to date hotel in walking distance to many local sites should consider this hotel. The room was not large but very comfortable, no complaints at all

This hotel was a delight to stay at- staff was personable and friendly and even helped figure out how to get les passes sanitaires so we could do all we were wanting to do while visiting. Rooms are clean, comfortable and beautiful and the balcony views of the Eiffel Tower are amazing. In addition to the tea room in the hotel, there are several cafes across the street, a convenience store that is open all night with wine and snacks and a little crepe/pizza stand open past midnight. You also get a gorgeous view of the dome at les invalides which lights up at night as well.

The hotel was much more than we expected. Since we arrived we were impressed with how close it is to the Eiffel Tower, when we entered the front desk everything was very fast and friendly, the room with a balcony was the best decision, you can have a coffee while enjoying the view of the Tower, WIFI fast and super hot water in the spacious bathroom. Their breakfast buffet is amazing to start a long tour of Paris. Very central to everything and many touristy and delicious restaurants. In front there is a pharmacy that provides you with all the documents for the covid pass that you need in Paris. This hotel is definitely highly recommended and I hope I can stay again.

We spent a memorable, lovely weekend in this wonderful hotel. The level care and quality was top notch. The staff is very friendly, kind and eager to help. The neighborhood is very pleasant and even quiet during the weekend, especially compared to the chaotic inner city areas. Of course, the view of the Eiffel Tower is priceless! With its close vicinity to both Metro and bus, you have very convenient connection to any of the other neighborhoods in Paris. There is also a taxi stand across from the hotel. We loved our stay at this wonderful hotel!!!
