We flew into CDG, rented a car, and enjoyed our first night at the Londres. We were given room #10 on the 3rd floor overlooking the palace. It was very spacious and the bed was so comfortable. The shower was great, there was a mini frig, and electric kettle. It was quite amazing to awaken to the view of the... More

Took the basis room it that well located hotel. It was the most expensive room of all our 30 nights is France, but defiantly not the most luxurious.Rooms are small as well as the bed. Shower is tiny.Wifi works very well.Did not try the food. I guess there are many Chambre d'hotes which provide you with better experience in a more convenient... More

We stopped overnight at the Londres. It was out second visit and we enjoyed our stay. The room was clean with a comfortable bed and there was locked parking which we booked in advance. They made a reservation at a very nice bistrot in the town. Breakfast was really excellent and the owners were very friendly and helpful.

Just spent the weekend at this hotel - and its is a delight. Beautiful rooms, run by a wonderful family, superb location - just cross the road and you are in the chateau gardens and free to roam - and right near all the wonderful restaurants and shops. Highly recommend!!

Charming but quirky hotel. We were in Fontainebleau for an event and stayed 2 nights. Booked the suite and were assigned a ground floor room that was accessed by exiting the reception into a small courtyard; luckily we had mostly fine weather during our stay. We entered by a short corridor and there was a room directly across from us.... More

My husband and I just returned from a three week vacation and the three nights we spent at the Hotel de Londres were by far, the best of our entire trip and an excellent value. This is a very friendly hotel ideally situated in Fontainebleu. The staff are welcoming and friendly. We had asked for a room with a view of the chateau and were disappointed to find ourselves with a room at the back. However, it was a beautiful room and the management team was very apologetic and gave us free parking to compensate.... More

Elegant 19th century hotel situated right across from the Chateau de Fontainebleau. Also just down the road from the Sunday market, a short walk to the restaurants in the town center, as well as a 10-15 minute walk from INSEAD business school. Although the hotel common areas are old and vintage, the room itself was modern, small, comfortably furnished, and... More
