We stayed in a triple-room (a double bed + a twin bed) that was extraordinarily large, and included a kitchenette inside the room, and a very modern shower-room. A large dinner table in the center of the room, and lots of seating makes for a very comfortable stay. Also the furnishings included unique pieces of real-wood furniture, some antiques. Our... More

Booking this B&B went smoothly and our host, Gerard was very helpful. Location of the apartment was perfect, in the middle of the town on the street full of restaurants. Our room was on the top floor. Since there's steep stairs up to the rooms, place is not that good for people with disabilities. We didn't mind carrying a baby,... More

This B&B has something magical about it and Gerard and his family are lovely and warm and made our stay wonderful. I loved the French breakfast with great coffee, fresh croissants and home made marmalade. The room we stayed in was very spacious, has a great jacuzzi bath and a charming decor. I especially liked the vintage rocking horse.

Gerard was very welcoming and helpful, and though our French isn't super, we could make do with a combination of French and English just fine. The room was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom clean and the added luxury of a bath a welcome bonus. And while the building itself feels old, it is definitely well cared for. The best bit,... Gerard was quite possibly the best host that my family and I have encountered on our two week vacation in France. He welcomed us and pointed us in the direction of a great place to eat when when we arrived exhausted, and the rooms were just full of charm and comfortable. Gerard fed us breakfast in the dining room and... More

I could not ask for a better experience. Gerard et Francoise welcomed me in their beautiful home and made me feel as if I was part of their family. The room was very large, warm, quiet. The wifi connection worked perfectly. The best part was breakfast. Gerard used to own a restaurant before......so he makes himself the wonderful jams and... More

We stayed just one night at La Gueriniere Guest House. Gerard could not have been more helpful. The guest house is on a closed road, so you do need to walk up to it from where you have parked. Fortunately there is parking 150 meters away...but it is pay parking. Apparently you don't have to pay for the parking on... More

An ideal place to stay in Fontainebleau. An intimate, family-run B&B in a quiet street with some excellent restaurants and next to a large open-air car park. We booked the suite with connecting double and twin rooms - perfect for a family with kids. The home-made jams for breakfast were delicious, and our host could not have been more accomodating.... I stayed for 4 nights at La Gueriniere. The place is beautiful and spacious and very clean. Gerard is extremely flexible and helpful. He took us to the station and also helped us with booking taxis etc. Breakfast is laidback and delicious. Even if we came late to breakfast Gerad insisted on us having a coffee and he always saved... We arrived at this guest house with the owner, Gerard, opening an upstairs window and happily shouting 'Bonjour' down to us. Despite only booking one double and a twin room, he insisted that we have seperate rooms and not pay more for them as there was one unbooked, he was very friendly and helpful but also just let us get...
