As my review is titled, old style house, not a problem but could do with painting and decorating, the thread bare carpets had seen better days too. Tiny rooms which felt damp, bathroom so small that you had to plan your entrance as there was little chance of turning one inside. Breakfast OK, other than location, a real disappointment. Parking...

A couple, plus an 8 year old, stayed for three nights in the Hotel du Nord in a 2nd floor room with two double-beds, during the week between Christmas and New Years. The room provided would accommodate 4, so it was spacious for the 3 of us. If you've arrived by car, you'll be given a temporary permit that will...

We stayed one night in this hotel with 2 kids. We had a family bedroom (3 beds in one room). Was very clean, the rooms are a bit small but for one night it was fine. The receptionist was very helpful and nice. A big plus is the breakfast, for a 2 star hotel we had fresh pressed orange juce!...

Yep it is in old town so old was expected. Quite quaint with smallish rooms but comfortable and clean. Driving into the hotel turned out to be very difficult but once sorted it was ok. But you park and leave the car, don't expect to just use it at random while here it is a labour to get it in...

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for the best part of a week in September. On the positive side, it is very centrally located, has good wifi, a lift, the staff are friendly and helpful and it is clean. English is spoken but it is quite limited in the case of some staff. We did not have breakfast...

very well located, clean and comfortable perhaps a little expensive for a hotel that could do with a touch of modernisation. Friendly and helpful personnel however. Parking is available but at a little distance.

This is an old hotel located in the center of the old section of town. The room was small and the decor was a bit tired, I experienced a comfortable, restful night. The service was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. It's a great location to get out and walk the area which has many restaurants, bistros, and shopping.

The hotel is situated in the heart of the old city. The building and the room are [of 50-60's] in a very good condition. Big, clean, comfortable room and bathroom. The bed is OK. It is managed by the owner's family so the service is excellent. We felt we were staying in a friend's house. We paid eu 65 without...

Stayed there 1 night in August 2012 and I would definitely recommend it. Nice room, friendly and welcoming staff, located in the heart of town but on a quiet road. The hotel also has a large garage where the allowed us to store for free our 2 bicycles

The Hotel du Nord is well placed for exploring this lovely city and has the bonus of secure, inexpensive, car parking. As other reviewers have said, someone from the hotel will accompnay you to the garage and we were able to leave our car there until the end of the day after we checked out. The staff ranged from a...
