Located in the historic center and it is ideal for shopping, restaurants and sightseeing. The room was very dark, more light is needed. Not charming at all but the room was big and the bathroom very nice. Breakfast good.

This is a lovely hotel right in the middle of the old town. Ease of access if arriving by car, and parking is available close by. It is clean, in character and the rooms are large and have great opening windows. The staff are really friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

The first impression of Ajaccio was not so good. Traffic, and ugly buildings when you entered the city. The hotel otherwise is located at the historic center, near attractions, restaurants, and bars. There wasn't a parking place (bht you can use a 2 block public parking - Diamant 20 euros for 24 h) The hotel is renovated, with big rooms... More

We were staying at a resort far from the city center, so it was more convenient to meet our friends at their centrally located Hotel for breakfast before exploring Ajaccio's attractions. The hotel is beautiful; it was the ancestral home of the dukes di Borgo. Our friends said the accommodations are excellent, and the staff is very friendly. The renovations... More

This hotel is brilliantly situated for the many bars, shops and restaurants Ajaccio has to offer. Napoleon's birthplace is almost opposite and there is a wonderful art gallery a short walk away. The harbour is a two minute walk, as is a sandy beach where swimming is a delight. Beds were extremely comfortable and the rainforest shower superb. The room... More

We had booked through the net and asked for a quiet room - only to be offered a room facing a very busy main street with lots of restaurants and a pub with loud live music just opposite, as the only option available. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable and really good standard. The internet was a nightmare - the... More

Promised wifi but barely delivered as it frustratingly did not work at night. Took front desk daytime concierge to reconfigure. Daytime staff was very helpful and friendly. Think if they had been around when we checked in we would have had a different experience and impression. Was a very good location for walking around. Breakfast nice.

This was an ok hotel with parking issues that could be easily solved. After reading reviews of the hotel I knew there were problems with parking. If I had been told when booking where parking was located and how to access the lots the whole issue would have been nothing. The hotel is near several parking lots which are fairly... More

The hotel has no parking , we had to park in a public parking which is around 5minutes walk to the hotel and carry our luggages ourselves. The location is very good and the devoration of the room is very good. The rooms are very large and modern furniture

Pros: we had difficulty finding the hotel in our car, so the young woman at the desk came to meet us where we were "stuck" (not far from hotel) and drove with us to parking area -- free parking, though a bit of a schlep to the hotel door! (Had we known that locating the hotel and parking was going... More
