A stylish boutique B & B, beautifully furnished in a quiet location with secure parking. Breakfast is in the family house and was excellent, not ideal for children. Property has locked gates off the road and access is difficult to find. Hosts are very welcoming.

The Leclercqs are wonderful hosts. The bedrooms are beautiful ensuits and they have made their garden (and summer house equipped with fridge, tea/coffee and crockery) available throughout the day and night. Breakfasts are fantastic and we were made to feel welcome every second we were there. To the extent that when we told Mme Leclercq (Ivana) hat we would b...

Been there now 3 times, and it's still fantastic ! Nice location, very friendly hosts and a fantastic breakfast. And all that in one of most beautiful regions in France, Champagne. We will certainly be back !

Le Manoir des Charmes is a Bed and Breakfast of the highest standard. The rooms are contained in what was probably the garage or coach house to the original maison de maitre. Each room is put together in a unique arrangement of great taste, original ideas and a hint of kitsch and good humour. The rooms are spacious, elegant and...

The homepage of this place doesn´t do it justice. Ivana Leclercq and her husband run a near perfect hotel/B&B in the lovely village of Ay, just outside the center of the Champagne capital of the World, Epernay. The hotel is totally charming in every aspect.! Wonderfully furnished rooms, free access to a beautiful garden and a nice gazebo to enjoy...

We stayed here for 2 nights over the August bank holiday. The accommodation is exquisite. Very tasteful colours and very camply french. We were in an outbuilding and even the wifi worked. Breakfast is taken inside the main house, which is decorated just as lovely, in a large conservatory. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful - a good choice of...

Stayed here for 3 nights. We were a group of two couples. The BnB is part of a large period home with quaint and idyllic setting. Very close to Epernay and Avenue de Champagne by Car. It is itself in the town of Ay which produces some of the best Grand Cru champagnes. Henry Giraud champagne house is a two...

Having visited and loved Les Manoir in April 2014 we revisited in 2015 as we needed an overnight stay. Yet again it was superb. Excellent breakfast. It is cash only so remember to get your Euros out in advance! We hope to visit again.

We stayed here for 4 very pleasant nights in June. The rooms (we had two as we had to switch for the last night) were very comfortable and great showers in the bathrooms. The breakfast was excellent - in addition to the regular French pastries, there was fresh fruit, yoghurt, cheese and meat. Breakfast is served in the main house...

The good: this is a very nice house and the breakfast was very pleasant. Room was decent (not a particularly comfortable bed but adequate). The bad: service was quite unhelpful (perhaps it was our bad French) - for example, the owners were very vague on recommendations for champagne houses to visit - in the middd of Champagne! Particularly irritatingly, they...
