Stayed for one very comfortable night at the end of May with friends at the start of a cycling trip - great location and lovely stylish rooms. Everything is high spec and you feel you are getting good value for money. Delicious breakfast and the owners were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area, Would definitely recommend and would stay... More

We wished we could have stayed more than one night in this charming B&B, in a lovely old French residence. Our hostess was charming, friendly and helpful. We loved the restaurant she recommended, La Table du Grand Marche. Our spacious room looked out on a courtyard and a garden, hidden away from the street. In the morning, you could hear... More

Maison Jules has it all! The location is great; on a quiet street yet it is close to the station, the tourism office where the tours start, and easy walking distance to many lovely restaurants. The house is a wonderful old house renovated to provide luxurious B&B rooms. Our bedroom was huge and the bed superbly comfortable. The bathroom was... More

This was my favorite place I stayed on my trip (no offense to the other great properties!) and I can’t say enough good things about it… The house is stunning and I felt like a princess up in the Room Grégoire. I could look out the bathroom window onto trees and rooftops while getting ready in the morning. The bathtub... More

Our stay of two nights at La Maison Jules will remain as one of our finest memories of our recent trip through France. The residence itself is luxurious and magnificent, with windows and doors that must be at least 12' high, truly a monument to the best in French elegance. The king-size bed was comfortable and sheets were of the... More

We stayed three nights. Alex welcomed us warmly on arrival and went to work booking dinner reservations and advising us on plans for our trip. Her English is beautiful and her travel advice is brilliant. The Maison is historic city-house near the centre, and it's been beautiful appointed for comfort. I cannot think of a better way to enjoy Tours... More

We spent a night at this lovely B&B in out way to Bordeaux. We were graciously received by Alexandra when we checked in and shown around the place. The living areas were very spacious and homely. The bedroom was also very spacious, which was a very pleasant surprise (as we were used to the tiny hotel rooms in Paris). The... More

My family of 3 just returned from a wonderful two-week trip across France. Our 8 year old daughter is in a French Immersion school and wanted to practice her speaking during Spring Break. We are so glad that we, not only, chose to stay in the beautiful, charming city of Tours but staying at La Maison Jules was the Icing... More

Extremely well located, this B&B is very clean and comfortable. We and friends rented 2 rooms, both of which had very good beds in which we slept well, large bathrooms (we all wished the sinks had been deeper) and feelings of both quality and newness. The hostess, very energetic, was completely service-oriented, helpful with suggestions and reservations: she has the... More

This boutique hotel is ideally located in Tours, a short stroll from the cathedral. Recently refurbished by the owners the rooms are very spacious and designed to very high interior standards. It was a pleasure staying here. The owner was especially welcoming. A 5 star stay. Thank you.
