Having stayed in the Sejoir et Affairs in Marne la Vallee on previous occasions, we expected to discover a similar standard of excellence here in Tours. There is still much to commend this budget sleep-over appartment block, but it fails to reach the high standards of the one in Disney-town Marne. To concentrate first on the good points, the hotel...

We stayed here many times; great location next to the train station and Avis rental car office; the reception personnel are very nice and willing to help you in many ways to feel comfortable. There is a garage on the premises for a reasonable daily fee. The only drawback is that the rooms need to be cleaned more thoroughly, especially...

Choose this hotel according to the reviews on expedia but it was a real disaster. I arrived to the hotel on sunday and all dors were locked. After a long wait, we were able to speak a stuff (very young french man) who cannot speak english. We paid 6€/d for parking more, breakfast was poor and rooms were stinking. TV...

Found this hotel after a hard drive from Paris. It boasts very large well-furnished rooms with a kitchenette. My fifth floor room had a balcony with a great view of center city Tours. Roomy bath with modern shower. Lavarie on second floor and a Salle de Petit Dejunier offers breakfast for 8 euros 50. A portion of the building is...

I was after a cheap and convenient place to stay in Tours, and this is a good example. It's a very short walk from the train station and you can reach all the main sites of Tours on foot from it. Do check the reception times carefully before arrival - I was emailed directly by the hotel after booking through...

I've been in this accomodation during August 2012. The overall impression was that this place is very scary and there was also a strange smell all around very uncomfortable. The reception hours were very limitated during the day (only a couple of hours in the morning and in the afternoon) the entire building was quite dark and there was nobody...

Listen - this place isn't expensive. It stands to reason, therefore, that a palace it is not. Location-wise, I was really happy as it is a short walk from the town centre. Arriving by taxi (don't trust these taxi guys in Tours...quite ripped off!), we entered the hotel to find that reception was shut. Enquiring to a resident prompted the...

I imagine that noone likes to sleep on dirt. Even to a student establishment dirt is still dirt.

I think we may have been put in the older section of the hotel as we paid in advance and got a cheaper rate. The room was really dirty (I'm talking handfuls of clumped hair/dirt/dust floating around on the floor, cobwebs, mould) and it had a really strange smell. The bed was an old fold out couch and wasn't very...
