Small hotel in an old, athmospheric building very close to railway station (about 200m). Rooms were relatively big and bed comfortable. Good bathroom and shower. My room was facing the street and there was some noise. Breakfast was usual french breakfast in an old dining room. Sights of Tours are within walking distance. Good wifi.

Very comfortable, good decorated, clean hotel. I don't know if it has any history, but it seems like an old-fashioned (in a good way) hotel with big keys and lovely staff. Room has all you need, big comfortable bed, two toilets, one shower.

I have had the pleasure of staying at this Hotel a number of times. All the rooms have been renovated to a high standard and feature a stylish decor. The staff are very friendly and are always happy to offer advice. A fabulous location, near the bus and train station and all that Tours has to offer.

We stayed in this hotel in September 2013 & 2014. It is very close to the train station, tourist office & restaurants. It is about an easy 10minute walk to the medieval Plumereau square & also riverside bars, The staff were friendly & obliging. Our room was a large double ensuite overlooking the garden at the rear. The breakfast was good....

We had initially chosen this hotel for it's proximity to the city and the parking options and in reality it fulfilled on both accounts. But those were to only positives of the hotel. On arriving, we were greeted by this messy looking hotel clerk with unkempt and greasy hair and a breath that stank of six month old stale, rotten...

On our recent holiday to France, we stayed at the Val de Loire Hotel in Azay-le-Rideau. This hotel changed hands two years ago and the new Director and his staff are tireless in their efforts to ensure that their clients have an enjoyable and comfortable stay. I simply cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. It is sparklingly clean and very...

We stayed in Tours and chose the Hotel Val de Loire as our place to stay for two nights. It was a well situated hotel near to the centre of town. Our room was clean, tidy, smelled lovely, plenty of hot water and a lovely breakfast. The girl on the desk was so very helpful and always had a smile...

Paperthin walls...could hear neighbor snoring. Very pleasant, helpful staff. Ideally located across street from train station and tourism office where chateaux tours leave from. Breakfast was bread and cheese for 8 euros. C cc cc cc cc cc C

Situated very close to the railway and bus stations, this hotel is ideal for anyone spending a couple of days in the Loire Valley. Tours is a very attractive and well-mannered town: if you like walking urban streets packed with history and/or want to discover a new tramway (opened in August 2013), it's definitely a place for you. The chateaux...

Nice pleasant stay. Staff was very helpful and went the extra mile. Room compact but very clean. Next to train station and walking distance to attractions within Tours. Nice Showers. If I had to mention any negative, it would be that it did not have any elevator. Will definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again.
