We were very disappointed by: - glass fibre insulation hanging out of ceiling over the bed - noisy due to thin walls and late night activity - rude and noisy guests - staff not prepared to do anything about poor state of room (glass fibre), told us it wasn't a problem! - dirty and damaged bathroom - shared single bathroom...

I disagree with other reviews. I would say this is a very good hostel, if it was not so far from the city itself (10 km). Ok if you have a car but otherwise there is a very good tram service nearby and relatively cheap (1.5€). The place is nevertheless a beautiful university campus, garden-like. The rooms are like those...

A horrid place and a very rude welcome, booked 2 rooms but left after an hour of waiting. Was worth the 65 euros to walk away. It is in a football stadium, in a corridor under the stand. I used booking.com but nothing on the website to say it's like this. Lost the nights money and went elsewhere and paid...

My husband and I had been visiting our daughter in France for Christmas. We always have a stopover on our journey back to the UK and try to make it a different area every time so that we see different parts of France - I was looking forward to our stay in Orlean. Although the accommodation was cheap I wasn't...

Our family, which comprised of my wife, our two daughters, her father and me, all stayed here twice in August 2011 for one night as a stopping point on the long drive from our home in Kent, England, to our caravan in Gourdon. We usually stop overnight somewhere half way to avoid a ten hour drive in one hit and...

This is a very cheap auberge (8.50 euros per person) so long as you have the French auberge card, which costs 15 euros per person and is valid for one year. We didn't have the card, but we whined and the guy let my girlfriend and I stay with just one card - so it turned out to a little...

“One of our rooms had two sets of bunks, the other two single beds. The further you are from the restaurant, the quieter your room will be.”
