This hotel was a great find. Just off the pedestrian area but approachable by car. There are car parks but as the street has meters which only operate 09.00-12.00 and 14.00-19.00 we didn't need to use them. The staff are excellent and happy to help. The rooms are comfortable, with excellent bathrooms. Breakfast also excellent. The lack of a lift...

Amaizing place in the heart of Orléans close to the Jean D'Arc statue. I enjoyed my 3 nights stay very much. Traditional style with new bathroom. Super clean. Very good organic breakfast. Natural toiletries.

Hotel l'Abeille is a truly lovely hotel in Orleans. Beautifully decorated, huge bathroom, extremely comfortable bed. The staff speaks quite good English and were happy to assist in any way possible. The only reason it didn't receive five stars is the extremely steep, winding staircase to the bedroom level..... This can't be helped, of course, as it's a converted house.....and...

We had an overnight stay here and were not disappointed. The hotel is within walking distance of the railway station and is in the town centre so everything is easily accessible. The staff are friendly and very helpful and our room was lovely, with antique furnishings, beautiful decorations and a great bathroom. Breakfast was set out in such a beautiful...

There is very little to fault about this hotel. Nothing is too much trouble the management are efficient kind and helpful. It is spotlessly clean and is very french in style. We loved it's charm, it has very steep stairs (you are warned !) but apart from that it is lovely, ideal for exploring Orleans.

Stayed one night. A lovely old hotel. The breakfast room is particularly interesting and characterful, and the room (210, 2nd floor) was very comfortable, with amazing wallpaper and a delightful bathroom.

Hotel l'abeille is situated just a couple hundred metres away from the Joan of Arc statue in the main square and nut far from the train station. We were using this as a stop on the way to bordeaux. It us a quaint hotel and our rooms were on the third floor. The stairway is very steep and narrow -...

Hot work walking up the narrow stairs to the attic room which I had booked for my wife, daughter and myself. How they got the super comfortable massive double bed up there we'll never understand - helicopter?! The public spaces of the hotel provide a magnificent example of old French decor with its theme of 'the bee' and also lots...

Stayed 2 nights, Arrived on a Sunday and the next day was religious holiday in France so got 2 days of free parking. It is on the street right outside the hotel and normally costs 12E a day. We were on the 2nd floor up a steep staircase but our luggage was brought up for us. The hotel and room...

I nearly scored this a 4 instead of a 3 because it is quirky and quaint. But the squeaky floorboards, noisy water running through the pipes from the rooms above, and the lack of air conditioning resulted in me scoring it a 3. If you can sleep through these things then this hotel is a great option in a good...
