I chose this place as a stop on our way to Bordeaux, mainly because of the restaurant. We were one day in from US eastern time and wanted to relax and enjoy the restaurant we had read so much about on this site and the booking site. We checked in to be told abruptly that the restaurant was closed that...

Your rude and negative review is not acceptable by the community of Trip advisor’s travelers. When you made the reservation, it was noticed the restaurant was closed on the date of your stay, refurbishments are currently underway. You have posted three pictures of the village but curiously there is no pictures of your room or the hotel. You have been...

This is truly a magical place. The setting is out of a book. This hotel is perfectly located in the charming village of Chenonceaux, about two blocks from the chateau. The room we stayed in was beautiful (on the top floor). The food was always fresh and delicious. We splurged one night and had dinner here and their service excellent....

We arrived late to check in and for our dinner reservation but they were very kind, understanding and accommodated us. It really is a charming property. Dinner was fantastic and the cheese selection was out of this world! Great location, very close to Chateau Chenonceaux.

The hotel is delightful and the staff very helpful. Room in a separate house in the garden was delightful, cosy, warm and newly decorated with a new bathroom. Very quiet room and a comfortable bed. Bathroom with bath shower combo ( not quite either one or the other , but new!). Bar was cosy for an aperitif and restaurant very...

We went there for lunch and it was totally worthwhile. The salon is cozy, well decorated with only about 10 tables. The staff was great, friendly and answer all our questions. We tried one menu and the staff kindly agreed to our request to change the desert for local cheeses. The wine list is comprehensive and the staff suggestions were...

We love this hotel as it's a great stop off point when travelling from St Malo to Val d'Isere. The staff are very friendly and helpful, we will return again and again. The rooms are excellent and the dining experience just perfect. Delicious food and great wine. The breakfast very informal and relaxing.

We have stayed here for Bed and Breakfast at least twice a year for the last 5 years usually for one night on our way down to our House in the Dordogne. We enjoy the whole ambience and also enjoy a leisurely Dinner in the excellent Restaurant.

The hotel consists of several buildings with a variety of room options. I was in a very basic room in the main building. Comfortable but nothing special. At check in I would have appreciated being told about the garden across the street adjacent to another of the hotel's buildings which was a lovely space to relax and have an afternoon...

I loved it here. We didn't sleep here, we had dinner. I saw in one bedroom though as my sister was staying here. The staff were attentive, the old building was beautiful and the furniture was lovely. We sat in the garden area, outside. We had a taster type menu. Little "amuse bouche" kept on arriving. All the courses were...

My wife and I spent 6 nights at Le Bon Laboureur as part of our honeymoon and were thrilled with our experience. I cannot compliment the staff enough - the concierge was exceptionally helpful and went out of her way to help us change a train reservation as well as handle a parking ticket on the last day of our...
