Our hosts could not have been more helpful and hospitable. We only stayed for one night but felt if it had been longer we would have had a very interesting and educational stay. We selected from Sawday who adequately prepares you for your visit. Parking will always be a problem in City town centres and Chartres was no different but...

If you go to Maison JLN expecting luxury, you'll be disappointed. But if you appreciate quirky charm and warm hospitality, you won't. This tiny home -- one guest room, at the top of a spiral staircase -- is such a lovely place to stop and draw a deep breath and explore the historical and spiritual aspects of Chartres. (Yes, there *is* actually a labyrinth in the floor of the cathedral.) The couple who run the b&b also gave us some helpful information...
