An exquisite but expensive bijoux chambre d'hôte. There's at least four bedrooms set in what was probably the stable block of the mansion house where you take breakfast.  Inside the rooms are beautifully furnished and decorated, and very well equipped.  What makes this special is the use of a pool, just across the garden. There's even special pool towels provided. ...

Le Plessis is a property of Mme. Patricia. She is very lovely and helpful. Recommended us a very nice restaurant in the surroundings and made a reservation. She offered to refresh our botle of wine and give us glasses and corkscrew. She was even waiting us to arrive from late dinner to give us the refreshed bottle. The property is...

Due to an autoroute closure we arrived about three hours late in Blois and very tired, so on arrival at Le Plessis we were a bit dismayed to be unable to find the entrance! This could be due to my poor French on booking but a Dutch with fluent French couple also staying had the same problem and of course...

My wife and I were in Blois on a cycling holiday and planned a stop at Le Plessis. Before arrival, one of our bikes broke, the lady was amazingly helpful. She helped arrange for the bike to be picked up and repaired. Then on arrival we found a haven of peace. Beautiful garden. Gorgeous breakfast. Lovely bathroom. Very comfortable bed....

We staid in august 2010 as a stopover for 2 nights. I forgot to write a review in 2010 but planning a trip to France again and thinking visiting this b&b again for a stopover for one night. It is a really nice b&b 10-15 minutes walk from the city center. Very clean and beautiful rooms (all different)! Nice welcome...

We booked into this B & B, but once we found it, we were really disappointed. We had booked the beige room. I can say the bathrooms looked nice and new, but the remainder of the room smelt musty and strange. The bed seemed to be made of foam, and was not comfortable. There was spiders on the floor and...

I stayed at Le Plessis for 3 night with my 3 children. My husband joined us on the third night. On the plus side: nice, large room and bathroom (we had the yellow one), thick towels changed everyday, nice toiletries, beach towel provided for the swimming pool, nice pool furniture, nice garden for children (the football was provided on arrival),...

The owners have renovated a former wine press building in the grounds of their elegant home to house guest rooms, and everything has been done with the utmost taste. The breakfast room, within the main house, is like something out of a top-notch interiors magazine, furnished with many intriguing objects and artifacts; and Mme Coffart decorates the table in a...

From the frendliness of reception on arrival, to the gift of a bottle of wine on leaving, this was by far the best B&B we have experienced. The rooms are large, very clean and everything is in excellent condition. The showers are very good (often a problem in B&Bs and hotels!) - and the bathroom has a decent shaving mirror!!!!!...
