This is a delightful place to stay. Laurent and Clare speak good English for those of us who need it! The rooms are very comfortable and the water hot! The breakfasts are satisfying, beautifully presented and quite different with local specialities to tempt you, like cold rice pudding - nicer than it sounds. I thoroughly recommend a stay here.

Le Clos Pasquier is a bit out of town but it is definitely worth the effort to get there. Laurent and Clair are the perfect hosts and the fresh homemade breakfast was the best we had on our 4 week cycle trip across France. The care they have taken in designing and furnishing is excellent.

My only regret -- we couldn't stay longer! The home is a stone farmhouse build in 1500 with original wood beams, knotty doorways, and charming touches throughout. We could not believe our eyes. Claire and Laurent are wonderful hosts who took such good care of us. Claire's breakfast was unforgettable: homemade bread, fresh eggs, baked apples, yogurt, goat cheese, homemade...

We spent 4 nights here and have rarely had such a lovely time and been so well looked after. We had the "Suite du Four à Pain" which is almost a small flat with private lounge. The attention to detail from your hosts, Claire and Laurent, was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. From the cleanliness of the room, to...

Le Clos Pasquier has the most comfortable beds and best breakfasts you will find. Claire and Laurent are superb hosts who attend to every detail. Laurent was very patient listening to my basic French but explained everything to me in English to make sure that I understood. The bathroom was modern with a wonderful shower. His recommendations were spot on...

My wife and I had a truly enjoyable stay here earlier this week, we had one of the two upstairs suites, the bedroom was scrupulously clean and very comfortable. The bathroom (with separate loo, and a wet room) was open-plan with the bedroom; this gave the suite an open and very spacious feel. Downstairs is a huge dining room/salon with...

We stayed here for 2 nights in May. The attention to detail has been mentioned in previous reviews and this is what struck us with this "Bed and Breakfast" place. Our room was big with an ensuite bathroom and our own private garden. Everywhere is immaculately clean and oh so quiet. We were recommended a restaurant in Blois which was...

This place is very special. It was one of the main highlights of our recent journey through France. This guest house is in a quiet area, just a quick drive from Blois town. Inside it is warm and cosy, the style is rustic charm blended with elegant modern features. The hosts are wonderful, we describe them as our "French parents"...

We just spent three days in the Loire Valley, visiting several chateaux, driving through the countryside, and eating wonderful meals. Our stay at Le Clos Pasquier was for us one of the very best b&b experiences ever. The garden room we stayed in was extremely comfortable and quiet. Previous reviewers have raved about the breakfast and we found it all...

Elegantly restructured old house, with refined and very quiet rooms. Very nice and kind owners, taking care of everything until the minimum detail. Enchanting breakfast ... I warmly recommend this B&B.
