Quaint little hotel in a great location. Manager was able to accommodate us at the last minute when our accommodation fell through elsewhere. Manager recommended some local restaurants and spoke good English. Friendly staff, clean rooms and secure parking. Would stay again.

We arrived late in the evening and had not planned to stay overnight in Azalay le Rideau. It was a nice surprise to find a neat room with a well equipped bathroom and separate toilet. Room was on second floor. There is no elevator. We spent a very quiet night. Room was on the back side. The service was very...

Anyone who travelled to France a lot 20 or 30 years ago will recognise the hotel immediately. It is an updated version of the then-typical regional hotel, before Ibis, Campanile and the others sprang up everywhere. The heavy wallpaper covering everything, including the wardrobe doors, is gone. It's lighter and brighter, and perfectly comfortable. The greatest attribute is the very...

A nice hotel, well situated, with good parking facilities. The owner is extremely helpful and speaks excellent English. The hotel has a small bar but only provides a very good continental breakfast. Having said that there was no shortage of excellent dining opportunities within easy walking distance which the owner recommended. We would definitely stay there again. Very good value...

Chose Azay le Rideau as it was convenient for seeing several chateaux & other sites in the area, without wrestling with traffic in Tours. Chose this hotel because reasonable price (several others very expensive) & it had parking. Arrived with slight trepidation after reading a couple of poor reviews on TA but our room was lovely & our stay of...
