We stayed here for 2 nights and our room was large, clean and quiet. A lovely breakfast was included and the hostess was friendly and helpful. We could park our car in the grounds behind a security gate. It was a short walk across the bridges to get into town to cafes, bars and restaurants.

This B&B is located in an undesireable with closed and abandoned buildings next door. The room we were assigned to on the third floor faced the roundabout where every truck, car and motorcycle had to stop and start again all night long. We had intended to stay three nights but, after the first sleepless night, we decided to find other... More

I stayed here the past three nights for a trip to Amboise with my partner and a friend. We booked the two bedroom suite, which fit our needs perfectly! The rooms are much more spacious than what we have encountered in Europe so far, and the addition of chairs was lovely. Upon arrival, we were met by the hostess (we... More

We stopped here for one night when driving through France. We stayed in the family suite. The place is very clean and has a nice ambience. It is also very well located and has a secure parking. We are already planning a long weekend there next year.

Beautiful chambre d'hote. We spent a delightful weekend in Amboise and this was the ideal accommodation for us. We were welcomed by our charming hostess and immediately felt relaxed. We had the Leonardo da Vinci room which was clean, spacious, comfortable and very tastefully decorated. A lovely intimate dining room again with a beautiful and relaxing ambience. The continental breakfast... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The proprietor is a hoot, very friendly and offers great information to sightsee in the area. This lovely B&B has a great view of Ambois Chateau and is easy walking distance to restaurants and activities. I would certainly stay here again.

There are many advantages to this lovely B&B. The rooms are spacious, spotless and beautifully furnished, it overlooks the river and is within walking distance of the historic centre of Amboise. Finally, the owner/manager is absolutely charming and helpful. Two small drawbacks were a lack of air conditioning at the height of summer and a bit of traffic noise in... More

Lovely building, we were stuck in traffic so just made the 8pm deadline - unsure what we would have done if closed. Expected air-con but my fault assumed it would be there. Booked the terrace room, not worth paying extra as it over looks car park and needed some attention. Terrace near breakfast room that is for everybody better. Manageress... More

I stayed here with my wife and kids (age 8 and 10). Entry to the B&B is through a large metal gate off a main road. Once you check in, you are provided with a remote to open and close the gate when you enter or leave. We missed the entrance a couple of times when we first arrived but... More

When we booked this we thought it was a hotel. To our surprise it is a lovely B and B across the river from the town of Amboise. Rooms are large and bathrooms modern. Had plenty of closet space as well. The breakfasts were wonderful and the 3 restaurants that were recommended were great.
