2nd time in Amboise. For the price ratio this is a great place to stay. Within budget close from everywhere in walking distance. Again like in most European small town hotel small room but have all you need comfortable and clean. Bad thing no iron neither ironing table available not a deal breaker since even bigger hotels this side of...

We were doing a trip to France in our car and Amboise was on our list of places to revisit. We were delighted to find this quirky little hotel so near to the centre In an old building, full of charm. For what we paid it was good value and very convenient. Would return if we were in the area...

It's a simple hotel but it's neat at a very nice price. The desk is friendly. Rooms are OK. Most rooms are renovated. and it's in the city centre. And Amboise is one of the nicest small cities in France.

Thank goodness this hotel was just that little distance from 'the action' as the town was filled with motorbikes for the long weekend. Very noisy and throngs of leather-clad individuals filled the cafés. All very civilized, I'm sure, but disconcerting. The town is delightful and close to most of the Loire chateaux. Hotel is charming, as were the staff. Rooms...

Easy Walking distance into the city. Rooms in this hotel are compact due to the original construction several hundred years back. So the modular bathroom edged into the corner works fairly well, all things considered. Tight staircase takes a bit of effort with bags. Breakfast, below average quality & selection. Two star in most respects, but functional.

My friend and I stayed here for one night in June on a classic motorcycle trip. I have stayed here before and knew what I was getting. A reasonable hotel in a very old building very near to the heart of Amboise with private secure parking nearby. Once again I was not dissappointed. OK the room was an odd shape...

My family of 4 (two girls 7 & 9) stayed here loved it! Attic room, sloping ceiling, tiny bathroom - but we didn't care a bit. We were happy to be in such a beautiful town and a centrally located hotel within walking distance of all the main sites in Amboise, and reasonably priced - would definitely stay here again.

Charming exterior and lobby but the rooms are on the small side, bathrooms are similar to those watertight pods you'd find on a ferry, and stairways are very narrow. Carpets are a little grim. Breakfast is best avoided and taken elsewhere. However; the beds are decent, the location is superb and staff are pleasant and helpful. This is totally fine...

We were given a warm welcome, but still had to carry our bags up one flight of narrow stairs. The room was small with a tiny bathroom in the corner but it is still better than walking down the hall in the middle of the night. There was a lot of street noise, but once the window was shut the...

We came here as a couple and found it very serviceable -- however, the size (and comfort) of the bed and the bathroom were really better for one person, not two. It's very clean and tidy, well located near Amboise's "main drag" and run by a really lovely family with an adorable daughter and dog. Not luxurious, but it works,...
