We stayed here for 4 nights after spending 5 nights in Paris. We were not sure what to expect after reading some of the reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised. Check-in was smooth and fast. Rooms were exceptionally clean and bright, with a large window...More
Reception was bumpy and not very friendly, the staff were preoccupied with coach tours. The rooms was very nice indeed lovely view and very clean with very pleasant flowery scents used in the cleaning. Drain in sink stank a bit but was resolved easily.

When this hotel keeps the deposit or full amount can we assume the room is left vacant as it is paid for?
I would venture it is not and they then double up.
In our case we reserved and gave CC details 4 months earlier - we needed to cancel and notified them (months before our intended stay). We heard nothing but found the full amount removed from our Bank in February for a June booking.
On reflection we wish we could have donated our money - or the room - to a poor family of the town.
What a miserable reputation for a hotel in a fine part of France!
