It was bliss to stay in this hotel after being in Paris, where hotel rooms would probably be banned as too small if they were bedrooms in houses. Our second floor room was very spacious, with (oh, the joy) plenty of drawer space so that we could actually unpack and not have to live out of a suitcase. Good sized...

This hotel was our favorite in all of France! It is so charming with beautiful spacious rooms - ours had a view of the chateau from our bathroom which was also comfortable and spacious with a footed bathtub and a shower. The hotel is tastefully and elegantly decorated and furnished. The staff is very friendly and helpful and gave us...

Wonderful place to stay in Amboise. Quaint, charming and full of character. We stayed in the Terrace Suite on the second floor which was almost like having our own little apartment in Amboise. Great and quiet location to see the town and easy parking for our car which we used to get around the Loire Valley. Not a big property...

Le Pavillon des Lys is a gorgeous homelike hotel, with fabulous reception rooms and well appointed rooms. We stayed in a second floor room overlooking the terrace in front of the hotel. The original beams has been maintained when the hotel was so tastefully renovated. Every modern and luxurious touch was available in a beautiful setting. The location is wonderfully...

This is a gorgeous hotel, right in the heart of old Amboise. The interiors are tasteful and luxurious, the staff are very friendly and helpful, breakfast is generous and delicious. The comfortable bed and the excellent shower deserve a special mention. We stayed in the deluxe suite and had a huge terrace with a stunning view of the top of...

I found our hotel Le Pavillon De Lys on trip advisor while planning our Loire Valley vacation. It sounded good, but I had no idea how great it was until we got here. First of all, the directions were easy to follow. The hotel has a parking area which is unusual for this small town. We were greeted by a...

We stayed 3 nights at the Pavillon des Lys and found it a thoroughly charming and comfortable boutique hotel. We stayed in room 21 which was on the second floor (no lift) and which had a fantastic view over the Chateau d'Amboise. The hotel is beautifully furnished with a mixture of the modern and old and the attention to detail...

A perfect little hotel right in the centre of Amboise. We stayed in a traditional bedroom in January. Very comfortable furnishings with a king size bed. The bathroom was huge with an oldfashioned bathtub, separate shower and a separate toilet! One minor concern was the safe was not bolted to the floor or wall and could be lifted out of...

This was an unexpected little jewel box hotel in the heart of Amboise, two minutes from the Chateau entrance. The hotel is an ideal, though quite unexpected mix of a centuries old mansion renovated with top of the line upgrades-amenities and decorated in chic, understated mid-century modern. Owner-chef Sebastian clearly has a passion for client service and luxury travel. Ask...
