Perfect hotel for exploring Beaune. Service staff were very friendly and accommodating is helping organise dinner and tours. Location can't be better, just round the corner from the Hospice de Beaune, with most of Beaune attractions and restaurants within 5-10mins walking distance. The 1 Michelin star restaurant Loiseau des Vignes is located downstairs. Try it if you must, food is... More

The service at this hotel was magnificent. From the moment we arrived, they were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and tidy and of a reasonable size, and the hotel is in the perfect place to explore Beaune and the surrounding countryside. The concierge booked us dinner at the restaurant next door, and also helped us find a nice... More

Lives up to its reviews. Excellent service, lovely building, centre of town. Eve good value for money vi hotels.com or slh.com. Omly caveat is to make sure you have enough tie to enjoy it - we arrived at night and left fairly smartly in the morning, with the clear impression of having missed out o Beaune and on the hotel.... Nice traditional hotel in town. The service is pleasant and rooms clean. The soap dispensers are Eco friendly but nothing memorable. Nothing really to return other than great location. The restaurant associated with the hotel is traditional French one Michellin star restaurant. Would recommend for a long weekend.

Found the hotel thanks to the sat nav (would have had difficulty without!) and managed to park in the small car park. This was made more difficult with a group of American cyclists piling their bikes up so that cars could not swing into the parking spaces. A hotel employee was on hand to take the luggage to reception and... More

Beaune is an absolutely delightful village in the Burgundy region and Le Cep a gem within it! Took an easy train ride from Paris & when we couldn't find a cab upon arrival (would suggest pre- arranging it with hotel) was actually offered a ride to the hotel (10 minutes away) from a friendly local woman at the station! The... More

Probably the best hotel within the walls of Beaune. This is an intriguing hotel set on many levels due to it comprising of 14th to 18th century homes with two courtyards which are listed monuments. Our bedroom was large and fantastic. The restaurant boasts a Michelin star. It is located in the centre of Beaune ideally placed for the market,... More

One night in Beaune as we travelled north. Room was £154 with nice balcony. Very plush with ensuite, double sink, large shower, bath, gold and silver taps. Smallish TV with all channels, min-bar, air conditioned. Very relaxing in the courtyard with excellent wine and nibbles. We opted for wandering into Beaune (1 min) to have breakfast with the bustling market,... More

My mother and I stayed at the Hotel Le Cep for three nights during our mother/daughter wine tasting trip. The hotel is absolutely charming and gorgeous. Perfectly located in the town of Beaune, we were able to walk to a variety of restaurants and sites, and the Saturday market is right around the corner from the hotel. It's about a... More
