We booked this hotel during our honeymoon because it was reccommended by Lonely Planet. My husband and I really enjoy old charming hotels and we were very pleased when we first arrived at the hotel. It is an old house, with antique decor, the room was very spacious. However, it lacks in basic structure. The bed was absolutely horrible, impossible...

We stayed here in Sept 2012, great location, easy parking, short walk to sites, restaurants etc, older hotel, clean quiet room, interesting older lady that operates the hotel. nice garden area for relaxing after a busy day

The main floor rooms were a gift since dragging our luggage to a higher floor might have really ruined my day, having just disembarked from the second floor of a train on the 'opposite' track. I liked the 'frumpiness' of this hotel and found it to be clean and 'old French' just to my liking. Compared to most other hotels...

We chose this hotel and knew from the trip advisor reviews that it could go either way...love it or hate it! I loved it, my parter hated it. The hotel itself is in need of a total makeover. It, I assume, is a typical old style French hotel, but by today's standard is more like a flop house/hostel. Our room...

Although, the room seemed fairly clean, it was very crowded and frumpy. The bed was very uncomfortable and the towels were unusable---scratchy, old, and dingy. I could not bear to use them and used my camping towel instead. The breakfast was minimal: 1 croissant, bread, and a hot drink. For 48 Euros, this seemed overpriced. I would not recommend this...

Breakfast comes with tea, coffee or hot chocolate. I had tea, and an extra chocolate for which I was happy to pay, expecting 5 euros or so. But 15? She said that was what it costs in restaurants, but I live in London and regularly visit Paris, and as anyone who has stepped outside their house in 30 years knows,...

This was our first trip to France and after looking through multiple reviews, I chose Hotel Rousseau because of all the great reviews. The choice ended up being a great one as the 2 days we spent in Beaune were amazing. We were greeted by Madame Rousseau, and shown true French hospitality. The room was spacious with a 1/2 bath...

My friends and I stayed in a room set up for four people. Our room was spacious and we had our own bathroom located just outside our room. The room was charming and the beds were so comfortable - without a doubt the best night's sleep of our trip! The hotel is located just a short walk from town. Our...

This place is a gorgeous, old Frech country house that was a refreshing change from the fast pace of Paris. The hotel has a lovely, quiet courtyard with tables where my wife and I had a great picnic to ourselves one night. Madame Rosseau was extremely accomodating however completely unobtrusive. Although her English was minimal, we did not find it...

Rick Steves directed us here, and we were delighted with everything about it. Madame Rousseau was very kind, and I regretted that my French was not much better than her English, because I would have loved to have visited with her and asked her about her beautiful home. The room was very nice, and we slept soundly for nine hours...
