Location is great... once you find it... we went around the one way system about 4 times! Once in we received a lovely welcome by the owners.. Their English is limited, as is our French, but we managed to communicate.. The rooms were very clean and breakfast plentiful... it wa2s great that we were able to purchase wine from them...

My husband and I, along with another couple stayed 3 nights at L'Octroi St Jacques to explore the sweet town Beaune that we heard about back in the States. Found this absolutely charming B&B on Trip Advisor and it was a definite home run! The hosts Jocelyn and Salva are lovely. They are very friendly and accommodating. Salva brought out...

This B&B is very homely and run by a gorgeous couple. yes they speak limited english and we didnt speak French but we got along wonderfully. The rooms are homely and clean; might be warm in the warmer months, but we where there when it was cold so we were lovely and toasty in our room. The garden is beautiful...

We stayed two nights and used Beaune as a base to visit nearby wineries. The room was comfortable and clean and the owners were so sweet and welcoming. The location is central and the onsite parking is a great bonus for car rentals. Overall a great deal!

My wife and I stayed two nights at L'Octroi Saint Jacques and we can't think of anything that could have made our stay any better. While our French consisted of bonjour, oui, and merci and the hosts spoke very little English, we got along just great. Once inside the gate we parked our car and didn't move it until we...

The B&B is located in a 15th century building that used to serve as the place for collecting the toll required to enter the city. The owners were warm and welcoming people and we stayed in the Suite Louisiane which had two bedrooms and another lovely bathroom, complete with an extra-large soaking tub which was particularly useful for shaking off...

Beautiful Place, Fantastic owners, home from home! Location, Location, Location. It's as central as you can be in Beaune but manages to offer such a relaxing quiet atmosphere at the same time, a lovely little boutique style establishment. We visited Burgundy and chose to stay here due to location and private off street parking but it was definitely one of...

Our lodging in Beaune was another of Carol’s excellent discoveries: L’Octroi St. Jacques, a very lovely B&B with a quintessential older French couple welcoming us into the most spacious suite we may ever enjoy. Due to some booking conflict we got the entire top floor consisting of 3 sleeping areas with a queen bed, a double bed and a single,...

we stayed for two nights in this stylish and perfectly located guesthouse. The owners live in the main house, which is really quite grand. Our room was in the small house, which apparently has very ancient origins. And a separate door so you can independently go in and out without disturbing anyone. The garden is magnificient with lounge areas. The...
