Front desk staff was great and spoke good English, can’t say the same about the restaurant staff where only few people were able to communicate with you. Food at the restaurant was very good! Every dinner received a bite size complimentary appetizer. Wine selection was weak, but wine selected was very good. Breakfast was disappointing.
First night the TV flickered blue and red light in the middle of the night all of the sudden, the next night I returned to my room only to find my window WIDE OPEN. I reported it to the front desk and they were like “it’s fine”. No, it is not fine, not sure if someone had gained access to the room, or if this place was haunted. Front desk girl said it was the wind, but I requested another room regardless, I was not comfortable staying there.
Taxis will pick you up from the street, so be ready to carry your own bags through the garden. And taxis there only take cash.
The hotel is walking distance from the beach, board walk, and 25min walk to the train station.
Very good restaurant at reasonable price.
Don’t set your expectations too high, this hotel has nothing to do with 4 star facilities.
No comment about the personnel, the lack of facilities is out of their hands and apparently in 2023 everything will be perfect so don’t hold your breath!
"Would suggest a few more coffee pods for two adults - and proper cups/mugs please."Read full review
"We stayed in room 101 great for people with limited walking as it’s close to the lift"Read full review
"The family room is a great set up, two rooms annexed off so the kiddies have one room and the parents the other. Brilliant idea."Read full review
