Nearby public parking.
Breakfast was fine.
The room was very small and the windows were not double glazed. As a consequence you could easily hear people late and night and early in the morning on the street outside
Would happily stay again.
I found out how dirty floors were when kneeling to plug in bedside light and get things out of my suitcase so wiped clean with wet bath mat - you can see the result!
Beds were clean and comfy though.
The room was immaculate - a little smaller than we had anticipated but still a good size.
Comfy bed, TV, Sizeable wardrobe and fresh clean decoration.
Bathroom had pocket doors (a great space saver) and was cleverly laid out with a great walk in shower - Clean and fresh
Lifts were clean and never needed to wait for long for one - we were on the forth floor.
Breakfast was in the underground room - small but clever use of mirrors gave an increased perception of size and light.
Staff were most polite - excellent english and only to happy to assist with any requests, from irons to blankets and recommendations.
Well recommend to anyone staying in the area,
It is located in the middle of the walls of St Malo in a quiet area which was perfect for us. We were in a room on the fourth floor which we went to via the lift , there is also stairs to get to the different floors.
The room was quite small and the shower room was as well but perfectly adequate for our one nights stay. It was all very modern and the bed was really comfortable and the sheets and bedding were really nice and crisp.
We had a little balcony looking out on to the street below and it was lovely looking over the roof tops first thing in the morning .
Our rate included breakfast which was downstairs below street level , there were croissants , bread , pastries , cereal , fresh fruit salad and yogurts and orang juice , water very nice coffee , cheeses , hams and salami and excellent choice of continental breakfast.
I would definitely stay at the Cartier Hotel again when visiting St Malo
We parked our car in one of the public car parks outside the walls , it was really easy we just took the ticket from the machine and left it in the car and when we went back the next morning we put the ticket back in to the machine and it told us that it was 2 euros 30 cents so it must be free parking after a certain time as we parked the car after 1800 and went back to it at around 0915 the following morning so at least it didn’t cost a fortune.
Thank you to the various staff members for making our stay so nice
