It was a delight to stay here. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the owner and staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent (especially compared with the large chain hotels in France - where breakfasts are usually poor) and thoughtfully presented. My friend and I had to get to the station very early for our departure and... More

I loved my time at San Pedro. The room was tiny but so charmingly decorated and shaped that I fully felt at home immediately. The hotel is located in the beautiful old city part of Saint-Malo and one is within walking distance of attractions, restaurants, and the railway station. The breakfast was very yummy and beautifully arranged. The staff were... More

San Pedro is a nice hotel located just next to the rempars, which as well mean very close to the sea. The room we were given is not large but convenient and comfortable, with, cherry on the cake, a sea view. The staff are very nice and helpful. A car park is available as well (10 euro). We Will surely... More

Always enjoy my stays here. It is inside the city walls and within an easy walk of everywhere. I like it most because you can get straight out on to the beach. Rooms are small but it is good value and pleasant

A great place within the wall of the old city of St Malo. Many good restaurants within walking distance. Great views along the wall of the ocean, islands and down into the old city. I highly recommend it.

Clean, courteous and helpful staff. Overall a very good value for a nice stay right next to the water and steps away from the restaurants and shops of the old town(Intra Muros). We also took the bus to Mont St Michel which leaves right from St. Malo, so this was a nice base to visit the whole area from conveniently.... More

We stayed at Hotel San Pedro for two nights. Upon arrival, we were greeted by what we presumed to be the owner, who was cheerful, bright and accommodating. Typical of most smaller ancient city hotels, the elevator was only enough for one person to us, but not an issue. Our room was on the third floor, with a peek a... More

great location inside the walls of the old city, within easy walking distance of everything inside. Friendly reception, good breakfast with cheerful staff. The room - hmmm. cupboard sized for twin bed room, definitely adequate for needs of sleeping, awesome view of the connection to the next building (rm. 101). We heard some rooms had great views.... Two couples beginning a cycling tour. This hotel is really well located right above the beach. It has a garage for cars and bikes, serves a great value breakfast and the rooms are small but very comfortable and charming. Best thing is probably the host who seems genuinely happy and friendly. Always smiling and helpful. He even pointed us to... More

I am an avid Tripadvisor user, so had chosen this hotel based on the good reviews. For the first time I feel my research did not give me the full picture. First the good: the location can't be beat, and the view from our room (402) was wonderful. Also the innkeeper was friendly and helpful. Now for not so good:... More
