Friendly and helpful staff. Beautifully appointed beachside accomodation in an easily accessable location 10 minute walk to the old town. Parking available by request, easy and secure just a short walk from the property. Plenty of great dining options nearby.

This is a beautiful little hotel, right on the beach, about a 20 minute walk from the old walled city of St. Malo. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, rooms have comfortable beds, nice full bathroom, all very clean. Breakfast room is beautiful, looking out onto the sea. Breakfast itself was good, coffee so-so. Staff are friendly and attentive. We would stay here again.

We had a delicious stay in this establishment, very well located on the famous Saint-Malo furrow facing the sea, direct access to the beach. St Malo intra-muros is a few minutes away, everything is within walking distance. It is a cozy hotel, on a human scale, where you are very well received.

Sea view room with “wow” effect, very nice decor, very clean, perfectly soundproofed.

The staff is really very welcoming, attentive, smiling and very accommodating. Thank you for your attention.

The + + +: Breakfast is taken facing the sea, very generous, with local specialties among others. It's hard to leave the table, especially with this view...
The -: nothing to say, I will go back without hesitation.

Please note: the hotel offers tea time facing the sea, with delicious homemade pastries and an incredibly extensive tea and coffee menu. I highly recommend !

What makes this place are the staff as the facilities are atrocious. On checking in I advised that wifi was vital to our stay and told that it was fine which was utter nonsense as it kept losing signal no matter where I was.
The road facing room was acceptable although small and the double bed was actually 2 singles pushed together. (Still pretty comfortable)
Room amenities, non existent apart from a couple of sachets of shampoo and a carafe of drinking water.
Breakfast pretty good except for €15 I would expect a fresh croissant as standard rather than the lacklustre frozen mini croissants.
Room walls are paper thin and you can hear everything from baths being filled to squeaky beds.
Off street parking is advertised for €15 per night and the out of season free street parking is not advertised.
All in all it is over priced for what it is and we most certainly wouldn't stay here again.

Hello, Thank you for staying with us and for appreciating the professionalism of our staff. Regarding the amenities of the room, we do provide welcome products: soap, cream and washing product that you can ask for again if necessary. Street parking is free but places are expensive, which is why we offer our secure garages a few meters from the hotel. We are sorry to read that your experience did not meet your expectations. Best regards, The direction

Renovated bedrooms, clean and quiet. A delightful place with lovely staff always ready to help. The breakfast is excellent as is their salon de thé in the afternoon. The rooms are small but very functional with obvious attention to details.

We were in a top floor room facing the sea. It's a very good location that we use from time to time. This time we were quite disappointed with the service in general. On the housekeeping side we had a towel used by previous guests in the bathroom, the vacuum cleaner was not vacuumed in our room (sand), and in the room it criticizes the chef when she is not there...

The hotel has a salon de thé.
When we passed it on a rainy day , we decided to get in, I asked if I could sit on the window and that was ok. When we ordered only thee in a “salon de thé”, we were told to go sit in the back. I asked the manager if that was really necessary since we were the only clients, but we had to move to the back, and we would stay the only clients for the next hour.
So maybe it’s a French habit , but for me they are very unprofessional.

We have a lovely window table in the restaurant with a gorgeous view of the ocean. The food was excellent and the staff very welcoming. Our room was on the second floor, small, but well designed. It was unseasonably warm in St. Malo and Le Beaufort is not air conditioned. However, the windows in our bedroom had rolling shutters, so we could safely open the windows at night.

We were initially excited for this property. Our rooms (room 1 and 5) were disappointing. The first smelled of cigarettes (though it’s stated as a non smoking facility) and the latter had a shower in a basement that had a mold smell. We asked for new rooms but they were full so we could not move. The smoke room slept with windows open all night.
We asked for a credit / refund but the desk clerk at checkout stated he did not have the authority. He was very nice and noted our issues and said to email the property. Which we did, and then the response stated that neither room had an issue. We are well traveled (several times per year in Europe) and know how to assess where we are. The rooms were poor quality especially for what we paid. If you go to this hotel, stay away from these rooms (perhaps the rooms with water views are nice). If we had paid half of what we did, it may have been expected. But the price was very high for a very low quality room. We asked for a refund of at least one of the rooms, but received nothing. Would not stay here again and would not at all recommend it.

Dear Danamargate, Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused by the smell noticed in the 1st room occupied despite a very strict warning not to smoke in the rooms but only in the area surrounding the hotel. We have since disinfected it. The 2nd room was a family room, which you had instead of a classic room. As far as our room rates are concerned, you should know that we are on a par with other hotels of the same standing, facing the sea and almost with their feet in the water. Our location also allows you to walk to the corsair city. We sincerely hope that we will have the opportunity to welcome you so that you can enjoy a stay that lives up to your expectations, where a commercial gesture will be given to you to erase your resentment. Best regards

Always faithful to Beaufort superbly located facing the sea and close to the privateer city. To have a pleasant stay you also have to feel good and it is thanks to the quality, the sympathy of his team of Welcome and restoration (breakfast, lunch and evening including the quality of the dishes served, special mention to the Chef!!!). We should also add the afternoon tea room (exquisite pastry and great choice of tea, favorite for "EROS"). Not to mention the room maintenance team.
The downside, it takes at least one, it is always missing a staircase ramp at the entrance of the Pension street side for people who have difficulty going up and down the 5 steps, it would be a great plus in addition to the elevator very useful to access the room upstairs.
