Not having spoken French since school (too long ago to remember) I was a little anxious about checking in, but as soon as the proprietor recognized my attempt at his language he made sure we understood each other and showed us to our room. The room was spotless, tidy and spacious with a sink in the corner, shared shower and...

Nice hotel room for the price of a hostel! Very home-like family feel. I travelled solo but would be equally good for couples and families! Good location - only about 20 minutes from the train station. Staff is very friendly.

The room was quite small but since we stayed here just one night, we had everything we needed. The price is really affordable, and the staff was very friendly. Sometimes it was a bit challenging to communicate in English but it didn't cause any issues. The main disadvantage could be a location, as it took around half an hour on...

If all you're looking for is a bed for the night then this place is fine. The room I was in was dark and dingy, but it was clean and the bed comfortable. The furniture is basic and decor dated. The towels were like sandpaper and the communal toilet is in a small cupboard, there is very little room! The...

Friendly staff, always willing to help out. They stayed open over an hour past final check in for us because our train was delayed, helped us reserve a taxi for our departure, because we don't speak very good French. The room was great and the bed was comfy. Highly recommend staying here.

This hotel has a nice position in Saint Malo. There are few park spaces available for free in the road. The reception is a bar. The rooms are on the upper floors. The ensuite double room is nice and average sized. The other rooms are fine, but the toilet is ridiculously small. The shower room is big enough to be...

Stayed here for a one night stopover. The room was very basic- no elec socket apart from the tv, no bedside table.. The shower room was so small that the basin was in the bedroom. You couldn't open the shower door fully, and could only just close the main door if you were using the other 'facility...' Lots of traffic...

We stayed here during the tour de France. It was clean and basic and the price reflected this. There was noise from the traffic outside as we had the window open due to the hot weather. If you want a budget option and don't mind sharing a bathroom, then it is a good option. It's a brisk 10 minute walk...
