Our second stay at this delightful Belle Epoque hotel within the old walled city. We got a fantastic deal from booking.com. Lovely spacious room with an enormous bed on second floor. Long, lazy Sunday lunch at €24.80, great value. Ample breakfast at €9. Highly recommended.

Stayed here on a very good winter rate before catching the ferry.. I came in the wrong door having somehow missed the Hotel entrance, the staff were lovely however and kindly escorted me all the way to reception. Reception were super helpful regarding parking advice, bit tricky for a vehicle over 2m high but there are spaces at the back...

Perfect location close to beach, restaurants, ramparts and car park. Hotels is charming and the room we had was ideal with view to sea. Comfy bed, great bathroom with powerful shower. We didn't eat at the hotel so cannot comment but we would stay here again without hesitation. A big bonus was that we parked our car right next to...

Booked ahead through the hotel site and received breakfast included in a sea view room. It is the one shown in their brochure, with a nice little balcony overlooking the sea and glimpses of the beach. Room was very good, comfortable bed with coffee maker but would highly recommend the sea view if available. Breakfast was excellent with a great...

Recently stayed in this hotel at start of December. We were due to stay at the Hotel De Cite but due to a technical issue we were switched to this hotel. We had booked a superior room at the other hotel with sea view and this was honoured at HDFeC. We were given a third floor room with a splendid...

The hotel is very centrally placed in the old town of St Malo - only down side for anyone unsure of foot is the heavily cobbled streets surrounding it. I chose the 'wrong' week to go there, early December when the Xmas market is 'ready but not open' and the hotel is quiet - I seemed to be the only...

Some of the other reviews may have mixed opinions, but I think I made good choice. The staff were friendly and welcoming at the reception desk and at breakfast and they spoke English when I got stuck :-). The room was clean, warm and comfortable, I slept very well and there was good-sized shower in the en-suite. The hotel is...

Ideally situated near the old town. Be careful, all the rooms do not have a sea viewing. Depending on the price. We get a room over the patio, with the home of Chateaubriand just in front of. Were there to go on his grave too (at low tide). Fantastic

Very disappointed with this hotel. Not much effort made to make you feel welcome. Advert stated 'most if our rooms have a sea view' surprise surprise, no sea view. Bedside lamps not working. Reported to reception. Only fixed one. Tried to call room service as the pamphlet on table said 'dial zero for reception' Couldn't find the phone in the...

“If you are disabled, be wary of the bathroom - beautifully appointed, very efficient but you do have to stand in the bath to shower and I should have taken my bathmat. I did enjoy one bath but experiencing the difficulty in getting out of it, I din't risk it again. I could have been 'marooned' until the next daily maid attendance. I should also have taken my 'kettle' - didn't think about the lack of room facility beforehand. All in all though - good location for the old town.. ”
